Hello all. Im want to build email list from new blog. My blog is about job opportunity. I will update regularly and I want to them to subscribe to my blog with their email. Can I have their email so I can build my email list? So, IF I have some offer, I can email them Thanks
Absolutely, put a subscribe form on your blog and start collecting emails. Buying them is unwise though - you'll fall foul of the anti spam laws.
I suggest you must not buy emails for sending broadcasts, or else you'll be in trouble with the CAN-SPAM act. You need to learn first the basics of list building through various ways in increasing your subscribers.
Yes! The key to your online marketing is buidling your own list that people have become attracted to you. You deepen your relationships with your visitors by offering beneifits and value for subcribing to your news letter where you can continue to offer value. Once this trust has been establish your list when follow your recommendations. Good Luck!
what subscribe form that i can use for collecting email? i want to collect email in a notepad list. is that possible?
Aweber is a popular choice for email collection and list management. Personally I like MailChimp. Feedburner also has a very basic email list subscription option but I only recommend this if you are not planning on marketing to your list. I'm sure how much Aweber costs but MailChimp has a free option. Feedburner (run by Google) is also free. Both Aweber and MailChimp allow you to export your list to your computer, but I think you have to have a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel. It's best to double check with the email programs.
I think Aweber better (After looking the features) I need collect subscriber's email data then export email to txt/csv/excel then I email them using my own email. So, you recommend Awbwer for me? Thanks for the answer.
Yes. I think Aweber is probably better for you. However, Aweber is a full service program which can send messages to all of your subscribers. Any particular reason why you want to go through all that trouble of downloading the list and emailing from your own email program?
I would suggest that you should integrate a subscribtion form to your blog. Encourage your visitors to subscribe to your list by offering them a freebie. In your case I would suggest you write an ebook e.g. about possible job interview questions and how to answer them. The KEY is that the freebie should provide real VALUE to your subscribers. To manage your list I would recommend Aweber as a service.
The post from TobyOnline is the right idea. You certainly need to give people a "reason" to want to give you their email address. You can possibly give away the free ebook as suggested earlier. But make sure what you give has value. If your giveway over delivers then they will trust you for a paid order when the time comes.
