Website Redirect & Backlinks Question

    HI,

    Consider, i own site example1.com which has thousands of backlinks and another website example2.com with no backlinks.

    So, what happens if i permanent redirect example1.com to example2.com

    will google count the thousands of example1.com backlinks As backlinks of example2.com ??

    I recall reading something about this but don't take my complete word for it 'cause it may have been dated already: I believe that the links will eventual transfer their juice but not instantly. Could take anywhere from a few months to a while.

    example 2 use the ppc are google adword program.

    Agree with Ronharper. Link juice will transfer lastly but it would take time.
