I believe that most of your sites getting listed more in MSN than Google. How could it be? Are they using different algorithm at their crawler? And which one is the best SE?
Althouhgh Im not too sure wht your question means... I must let you know, MSn loves new sites and blogs... so often your sites gets listed in MSN for good keywords in the start and later on as time Passes by MSn withdraws its SERps for your site... Google is somewhat Opposite... ... yes ofcourse both are using absolutely different Algorithms to rank sites.. At the Moment, its Google all the way
Ditto. I find this is exactly the case with my own website. The same goes for Yahoo - easier to rank high, but much less actual traffic. I guess this is because the keywords one generally targets aren't the same that users actually search for... Cryo.
i used to find it easier to rank in msn, nows it the otherway round no where in msn or yahoo, but allover google
to rank in msn only on page optimisation is required but in google off page optimisation is aslo that is why in google it is not easy to rank for new sites, new sites required good no. of back links and good on page optimisation as well. if you have good no. of quality back links then you can easily rank good in google also depending upon the competetion.
well i used google searcgh most of the time & as i recall i heard somewhere that google always change their algorithm in order not to leak and to avoid crackers....
Msn results deepnds mostly on on page optimization. Plus when your site gets crawled first msn it ranks high but as days past results faded away. Google results depends more on off page optimization. You can say 80% off page factor and 20% on page factor. Not to mention google is superior than any search engines.
Well first Google indexes on backlinks and quality. MSN will index anything. Google produces way more targeted traffic than MSN can even dream of.
I think you have to look at your targets as well. MSN tends to be the less knowledgable. Remember that MSN is the stock start page for IE so everytime they update or someone buys a new computer with Windows they are going to have MSN as their start page. If they dont know better they will never change so don't count MSN out by any stretch of the game. There are alot of buyers in that engine.
I always rely on Google.Google search results are good compared to others. Yes all search engines use different algorithms which are not known to anyone.
My sites in the past have always ranked very well on MSN, but since the switched over to live.com (and I am guessing a different ranking algorithm) I find that my rankings on MSN have taking a major hit. Right now my sites rank higher on Google than on MSN for a majority of my targeted keyword phrases.
Organic and onpage seo works well in msn.Just book domainwith keyword and put orginal content your site will come up soon in msn but good it is diff.
i think yahoo is in middle it is not do easy to get site like msn and not so diff like google.Yahoo gets good traffic, u can list in yahoo dir for 70 ot 80$ in dp and get huge rss backlinks thru articles or so, u can see quick results.
Google will give u the most traffic... however if you are selling any products which are targeted to less technical people then....I guess u should concentrate more on MSN because it is the default SE which comes with IE. And majority is using Windows and IE.
I agree... this probably could be true. And I think that by non-technical people MSN will even be more used in near future.
Google takes more to list ur site unless u have quality back links, while msn it is easier as fro search engines, Google all the way , No doubt about that
Its reasonably easy to get high rankings in MSN, however the conversion rates are way lower than google and yahoo
