If you can make quality product, go for vendor. If you can't, go for affiliate. I've seen several unsuccessful vendors, their product gravity is bellow 1 and they make less than $100 per month.

But actually the best is hybrid vendor affiliate.

Start as affiliate....build some xp than you can create your own products....if u manage to make a steady income it'll be easier with product development: product manager, affiliate manager (if u can't handle it by yourself), copywriter for your salesletter (it's harder and harder to enter CB's niches with low quality sales letters)...a good SL starts from a couple of thousands $ to $10k-20k....but it's peanuts compared to what you can earn.....hope it helped...pm me if u need more advice...or want to promote our products :p

yes, if you can easily get you product, vendor is better, because you need do nothing, just waiting to get money. but if you can hard to have your own product, affiliate is more suitable, it will save more product-making time. what's more the commission is very high.

If you have the skills to create a high quality and useful product- being a vendor is better.

Either way, the key thing is being able to promote the products. If you make your own product, you will need to be able to create a high converting sales page and generate traffic to your offer. As an affiliate, you have to generate traffic that converts. The cool thing about being a vendor is that you can have other affiliates promote for you and sell your product, but then the hard part is getting those affiliates.

You can make a lot of money as either an affiliate or a vendor.

I agree, when I buy some clickbank products, there will be vendors who have affiliate links in their products. This is a smart idea.

You have to try out currently selling products before you determine what's the minimum standards of a high quality and useful product.

Another super-undervalued place to get more product research information would be the public library. Let's say you are looking to create a weight-loss product, borrow a bunch of bestselling WL books and see what they have in common...extract the good stuff and write it in your own style and incorporate your own personal knowledge of the subject.

But here's the irony you must be able to understand:
The quality of the product (from the perspective of the affiliate) is often not determined by the actual product, but by its sales page professionalism and "sales sucking" qualities. So focus equally hard on your sales page and affiliate page.

    "An example please?"
I think truthaboutabs.com is an example of a maximum value product (or I like to call - MVP). Its sales videos are awesome and the sales letter is equally high quality. The product is also of high quality so you can't complain much and refunds are low.

If you like this post plz show me some love hehe

To be a vendor is more profitable. You can either make a good product yourself or hire someone to make it for you. If you don't have much budget, start as an affiliate at first.
