Selling my Myspace Resource site at AUCTION cheap price low start good traffic andREV

ok I am looking to sell one of my sites off www.myprofilepimp.net

reason for selling - Dont want to deal with MSRS any more I have other projects i need funding for.

It's currently has a Page Rank of 5 one and it gets a fair bit off traffic comming in I dont even advertise this site any mroe and traffic still comes in =), around 450-500/visitors a day some days more like on weeekends and stuff...I have had days of 15000/visitors aswell when promo's have been done.

This site it self was started in late may, and has been making decent revenue each month around 150-200 usd/month yet it has pretty poor ad placemnt and colour, I think the whole site needs a new script or sometihing to bring in higer Revenue, which is very veyr possible. this rev has kinda dropped a lil over the last month as msrs payments are falling by google.

probly 30-40 link exchanges have been done for this site aswell to add to PR

Positives -
*PR5
*decent traffic
*A massive lot of backlinks all over the main search engines,
*Heaps of people using the codes, graphics and other content thats on the site...

*The site has a ton of layouts and a ton of pages, heaps and heaps of custom content that you would not find on any other MSRS.

Advertising done -

*bulletins during may on various accounts
250k bulletin form some guy personal account,
300k bulletin from some guys personal account,
personal accounts, I have done a fair few.
*directory submission x 1000
*forum posts on a massive laod of forums, I just signed up to forums and told peopel about a few of my sites lol,
*forum hyper links on a fair few forums I post in just throw this in their for some traffic.
* youtube marketing a fair few links come from here.
* link exchanges look at the affiliates list on the site a fair few were done
* myspace messages to a large number of people over a period of time.
*then traffic gets in from random places aswell the list is endless.

but the thing is lately I havnt really been doing any advertising at all on this site recently as I have had other commitnments the revenue is still around 4-5 dollars a day off adsense with the poor placement mind you.

here are the stats for just content based ads, search makes up for around 1 dollar a day aswell,

Negatives-

Overall the site needs some general web design need to be done to fix up the site but this would involve copy and pasting a bit,
the site is semi-messy on some pages and needs a clean up...
maby the site could use a new script or something this could be effective.


Reason for selling - I just feel like I dont have the time to fix up this one as I have to work on studies for marketing/advertising at biss college.

As in, all of the links and therefore the site itself is listed on the domain, http://www.users.on.net/ - doesn't that mean any Pagerank value (you've given it as 5) is actually based on the domain, users.on.net?

Plus, I see you are running both Google Adsense and Adbrite on the same site, which is definitely against Google's TOS.

 

check backlinks for "www.myprofilepimp.net" check PR for only "www.myprofilepimp.net"

I think you need to do research before making these claims you have just stated.

Since a major part of Pagerank is calculated via backwards links, I believe the pagerank applied to your site is incorrect and that the Pagerank actually being seen is from the domain, on.net, (which translates to http://www.internode.on.net/).

So I think you are misleading yourself about the actual Pagerank of the domain myprofilepimp.net.

There aren't any backlinks showing.

The site, www.myprofilepimp.net, is actually delivered via frames, from the site, users.on.net. This means the Pagerank is being applied to the serving site, users.on.net. It would be like me having a site, e.g. site-x, with a Pagerank of 7 (PR7), removing the content from one of the pages and replacing it with a site within a frame using that page. The PR would come from the PR of site-x, NOT the content of the framed page.

A PR of 4 for http://users.on.net/
A PR of 6 for http://on.net/
And completely different figures for the backlinks for all three.

I am not denying the site is delivered through a frame but don't those figures shake the logic of your argument a little? Can you explain a little further how one site can be masked with the PR of another?

To be honest nobody is going to make a cent off Google PR unless they are selling links and that is obviously not this sites niche.

He is selling a revenue making site ....as such PR has little to do with the equation.

I don't think he is giving away http://www.users.on.net/~jwn/myprofilepimp , I suspect the intention was to sell the site myprofilepimp.net while retaining the traffic source. Does not seems to be honest to buyer.

the domain users.on.net is just where its hosted at atm no traffic is going to thsi domain all the traffic goes to www.myprofilepimp.net

this users.on.net has nothing in relation to the traffic all it has relation to is where its hosted at.

I understand the probelms and issues people are having here...

Connections, I don't think you fully understand backlinks. The link you gave is to Google but, and this is the important part, you are searching Google for the phrase, "www.myprofilepimp.net". That is not backlinks! All that shows is the number of times the PHRASE, "www.myprofilepimp.net", is listed.

To get the number of backlinks to a site you must use the 'Link:' parameter when searching Google: like this
Then you need to take out the internal backlinks originating from the same domain. Like this.

Interestingly, when the same search is applied across other Search Engines, the site, myprofilepimp.net, shows lots of backlinks: Yahoo (8520) MSN (1344)

I'm not trying to say you haven't got loads of backlinks, or indeed, that you are trying to scam anyone; only that I wasn't certain the Pagerank was generated by the domain, myprofilepimp.net.

This is because #1 external backlinks don't appear to show in Google and #2 the site is held in a frame on a users.on.net page.
