You couldn't make it a full time job, and there are more effective ways of making money when you have 14 hours a day spare. Saying that, I did sell a couple of Runescape accounts and some gold back in the day.
lol internet sure can make more money rather then spending time on keyboard and mouse to play game, good advice ? keep game as Hobby not a job
Hard to make real money playing games since every 10-21 year old in the world would be competing for any job there was for that. It would almost always be the case that the cost of the computer, internet, and electricity would outway any money you made, let alone the time you spent... maybe you could earn like $0.20/hr profit but you would not be having any fun. There are bots out there playing the game so one guy in a room has 10 different World of warcraft accounts going at once. He still likely only makes about $10/hour and he has the paths down, optimal grinding zones, and everything.

i heard somebody playing games make money, but never know why they do that. is really could get more money from the games?
Yes, it is very much possible to make loads of money by playing games - in fact there are pro gamers who use special keyboards and mouse to play games.
Selling accounts is more of a hobby; you play when you're home from work for about 2 hours a night and at the end of the month that's an extra 1000 bucks, I guess. Some can make a living out of this, but they're not millionaires. You take three friends and you all take shifts, and in 24 hours you can have a good character. But, it gets repetitive. You're grinding the same monsters and finishing the same quests over and over again, and you've been doing it for 48 hours straight. You also have to take into account the money spent on subscription.
c'mon mate.. this is not selling forum on topic, yes it is possible, selling account, items and if you play WoW you can sell the gold
I was thinking the same thing, i looked around on the web and seen people selling wow accounts highest was $900 and average around $500-600 for level 60's. i sold some old characters from Dark age of Camelot and made $400.. But took awhile to get them where they were and played them for fun not out with the intention of selling them.
games are still better to kept as a hobby. plus... i think the ROI is not very high... technically speaking.
While all the debates going on whether this is a viable way to earn money from the net or not. I believe it will depend on the intent and amount of effort spent. It will be the same question of is work really work when you enjoy it? Going by some of the maths that are seen in past post. If you do earn $10 an hour and you play for 16 hours that is $160 per single day. With that in mind i seriously think you can get by with earning that amount of money per day. Point i am trying to make is yes there are ways to earn money, but is the money earned worth it and is it enough to pay your bills to be a decent job. Also the 2nd most important thing is do you enjoy doing it?
I started out selling Diablo game items on ebay about 5 years ago, thats how i started my online portfolio =)
