I didnt even consider having issues with my domain name before I started my new project but has anyone heard of cases where linkedin domain names are okay to use. For example xxxxxlinkedin.com or linkedinxxxxx.com If so please let me know thanks
You need express permission to use a trademark as part of your domain name - especially when the content relates to the TM holders products, service, or similar usage.
Yeah well...better you learn it here and do something than find out the hard way, which can really suck.
Yeah I tested something like that out as well with Iphoneearphones.com and was promptly reminded that this was going to get me in a lot of trouble. One of my colleagues tried something called skinfood.ca and got a cease and desist letter from Skinfood themselves. Definitely be careful with trademarke infringements!
Although this totally sucks this info is gonna be really helpful for me in the long run thanks for letting know guys
