report your post but generally the answer will be no. If it doesn't breach our rules we'll let it stay.

If you've done something dumb like post an affiliate link, then realised it would be a problem report it and we'll generally delete it with no infractions etc.

However if you've said something you now regret you'll have to get a court order to have the content removed - especially if people have replied to your post. Removing it will leave the conversation looking stilted.

I dont' think that there is any option that allows even the author to delete his posts or entries only unless if it has no conflicts with the rules of the thread. We see some pretty silly posts but they are there because they abide by the rules and to remove them they have to go against the moderator's rules. Or you could send for a request.

See 7th post in spread. Do you really want a scammer to be able to come in and delete his thread to save his reputation? Use due diligence when you make a post, if you are unsure whether you want post online sleep on it before you hit the submit key. You have an eight hour window in which you can delete any post other that post starting a thread.

No but you can edit it. :) You can remove all content from your post. But you can't delete the thread.
