The group called Anonymous ? WTF are people really falling for this ? There is no group called Anonymous . It's simply that every hacker that doesn't give his name and every security breach that has no known author can claim to be anonymous or be done by anonymous . Everyone is part of anonymous including everyone of US since no one knows for sure the name of the other person . So please stop pointing fingers at what's a running gag started in 4chan/somethingawful .
Yes and no. Anonymous the myth is a great tool for the controlled opposition. It doesn't matter who if anyone is behind this. What matters is what the media and the paid instigators can use to turn this into a violent ending with new domestic terrorism laws before the average American will ever get a chance to understand the flaws within the system. It's the media mindfuck keeping people divided, uneducated and running around like hamsters on a treadmill. Attacking each others with accusations of isms rather than finding common (sense) ground. It works.
You don't need the media to mindfook people . A large number of people don't have intellectual capacity , don't develop their intellectual capacity , ignore their intellectual potential or simply let their intellectual potential decay . It's a much harder job to do the opposite since that requires leadership , dedication , resources and good will . As for America they could use a National ID system , that would solve most of their problems .
With leadership comes demagoguery and that opens doors for the media to mindscrew and use the stupid majority to bamboozle the rest. Nothing is fact based. All emotional ping pong. You cannot win without a core group of intelligent and capable people making the decision without them being corrupt enough to sell out their own people.
True leaders are do the opposite of demagoguery and also exercise media control trough either charisma or humor . Also a true leader will always assemble core teams that are capable of handling tasks . You can be superman but when it comes to handling a organization you're gonna need a lot of good men .
I would appreciate Obama a lot more if he was a stand up comedian or an actor portraying a President.
Its hard to describe how many different things make this video uncomfortable to watch.
I only watched the first three minutes of that video, but it looks like the guy with the megaphone created a "hive mind"? Hitler did exactly that with the common chanting, we are all in this together, etc. Next step is they elevate one person who they feel personifies everything the hive stands for. One thing never changes, and that is how malleable every young mind is. Give them a sense of social acceptance and they will gladly invade Poland without even knowing why they are doing it. I hope for the best for this Occupy Wall Street movement, but it could turn into something terrifying. EDIT: I watched the rest of the video. Holy shit. What I really want to know is, who was that guy with the megaphone? He seemed to be very skilled in crowd-speak. Very subtle voice and gesture cues to manipulate the crowd to prevent John Lewis from speaking. I wonder if John Lewis would have been allowed to speak if he hadn't endorsed Hillary Clinton for President in 2008?
Totally agree, and unless the 10% attending who know what they stand for and what solutions are sensible are deciding to separate themselves from the 80% disgruntled sheep, there is a big chance that it can take as little as one isolated event to create mass violence to be followed by some serious police (if not military or national guard) intervention.
Which is why I pay less attention to the message and more attention to the fact people are flooding the streets. When you consider that right now, Obama's community organizing folks are directly agitating and pushing people to get out in the streets, it looks like they are playing with fire. A lot of people out there are extremely pissed off and hurting right now, and when this thing turns violent, this political stunt is not going to have seemed like such a good idea in retrospect. Regarding the mindless repetition of everything the speaker says, it just struck me. I haven't seen a single Occupy Wall Street video where the people in the streets do not repeat everything the speaker is saying. It is seriously disturbing. Seriously. Check it out. Find a single video where the crowd does not mindlessly chant back what the speaker is saying. It will send chills down your spine.
In practically every video, mindless repetition of the speakers words. The "Young Turks" rep claims it was for inability to use a megaphone, but in all the other videos they had amplification and still stuck with the mindless repetition. You know, there is this part in me believing in a reform, but then I see this and know it will be tough to find common ground.
haha so fitting People are incredibly lost and whoever gets their trust, they pretty much believe anything that person states from then on. Which is why I am pretty much against the Occupy organization 100% considering how powerful they are getting and the fact that whoever is behind the organization to begin with is something that has not yet been properly disclosed. But at least I see some visitors from Georgia coming to my site after I posted the link, so maybe someone there will wonder why he or she finds herself representing his or her individualism by chanting and repeating without thinking ...
The reason they are all repeating is because they are not permitted to use megaphones. The people closest to the speaker repeat what the speaker says, so people outside of hearing distance of a single person speaking are then able to hear the speaker. Would be a lot easier if they were allowed to use megaphones, but they are not, and they are keeping within the law.
