If you ever have any problems with Paypal, MoneyBookers or Alertpay and think you have been scammed.

If you have not got a resolution in 14 days from the Merchant or the eWallet we suggest you do the following if you paid with Visa, MasterCard or Amex.

1. Call your bank asap!
2. Tell them that you want to dispute the transaction (do a chargeback)
3. They will get the money back to you!!

You must do this within 180 days as you are protected by the Visa and MasterCard rules within that time.

Some payments processoros (like alertpay) might try to keep you waiting for over 180 days saying that the resolution team is working on it just to get you over the chargeback period so they dont loose money on you and you end up paying for something you did not order, did not get or was not as the seller said.

All users adhere to our user agreement, which clearly forbids members from initiating a chargeback. Users that file chargebacks are automatically suspended and fined.

AlertPay has a process for dealing with transaction disputes. The reality is that the vast majority of our members will never experience what this individual is describing. By following this individual’s proposed steps, members would compromise the very system that is in place to protect you, enforce scam prevention and combat fraud.

Yep, chargeback did work for me when I got scammed by a guy who told me he would dropship some watches that turned out to be fake. Prepare all related documents and you should be fine.
