It depends on your project requirement. I use notepad++ and netbeans.

For me, it's netbeans. Aptana is also very popular in PHP community.

NetBeans is solid, but I vote for Zend Studio. There is both free and commercial edition.

My setup is currently PHP Designer 7, Dreamweaver CS3, and Eclipse, utilising XAMPP for a testing server, but ultimately, it depends on the features that you want or need for your projects...

Netbeans, next Eclipse, 3rd is Notepad++.

Dreamweaver is best in just building HTML code for implementing design (slicing) especially CSS.. good also in PHP

I don't use an IDE. I use the jEdit text editor, firebug, and filezilla for most everything.

Aptana is probably the best one I've used so far. It's based from Eclipse, but this one is more geared to web development.

I use bluefish 1.0.7 - stay away from bluefish 2.x, the developer forgot KISS, and you can't even disable most of the annoying bells and whistles he added.

NO doubt Netbeans IDE is the best. It has a fast debugging facility and easy file navegation. It is also free. watch this goo.gl/2YJhY[FONT=arial, sans-serif]
