    Google Panda Update !

    Google is a great search tool no doubt about it.

    Is Google after the best quality or a new business method ?
    Do Panda care for our websites after 5-6 years work on it ?
    Why this Panda came to make change from time to time with new panda algorithm to hurt ?
    Do people runs this issue comes to their mind that very poor humans lives behind these websites ?
    They did their best to make it.
    Are people moving from Google to Bing and Yahoo !

    Help us to understand .

    Actually Google only care about the Quality of a site not the time or quantity. if your site is 5 years old and don't have any kind of good information or it is just build for the search engines then according to Google Panda Update your site will be blocked or penalized. so without any doubt Google is after the quality only.

    I have a crap site with virtually no content. I never update it, I don't chase backlinks, I don't do SEO work on it. Google thinks it is the best thing since sliced bread and insists on ranking it higher than all my other sites put together, including ones that are far better quality.

    So Google isn't after quality at all, its after something else. In this case, probably age and the fact that that site has some good backlinks from very old sites from when I did some backlinking 6 or 7 years ago.

    I don't understand it at all and it really annoys me.

    Hey the algorithm isn't perfect.
    But yes you should now focus on quality and integrate more of the social
    networks into your site. I'm sure that some day Google will look at Google plus info and
    integrate it in the algorithm.

    Eh, it doesn't need more backlinks. Its just my personal site from 2002 with some cartoons and jokes and stuff on it. Can PM it if you want though.

    Edit: one of the perks of having a site that ranks well is people buy links off me for far more than I think they are worth. Which is nice, but surprising.

    Same here lol. I have a website that I created in a couple of hours, Did barely any SEO and it ranks number 1 for the targeted keyword and gets a merry 1500 visitors per month (ok not much) - but considering I have never touched it since the day I created it baffles me!

    Google has confirmed that the latest iteration of its Panda algorithm update is live. Based on our tracking of the algorithm changes, this is Panda Update 2.5 (September 28, 2011).

    As an Internet user and a webmaster who values high value backlinks, I really think this panda update is good for all of us. Instead of spamming internet, we should be making this a place where visitors can learn a lot of things. Spun contents and duplicate contents were ruling internet before Panda. With Panda we have taken the First step to make internet clean. There are still some problems. But there is some hope. Let us create pages for Human consumption.
