    Hi,

We have a website at http://www.monthlyweb.co.uk and we have some PNG images that are rotating in the banner.

They shown fine in most browsers but I.E has some kind of transparency issues. It fails in I.E 6,7 and 8.

Can someone give me a simple solution to this please.

    Thanks.

Yes, you're right. IE has always had opacity issues. You can google for the hacks to fix IE.

I did Google those, used some JS PNG FIX file and used an AlphaTransform filter too but they didnt work or had undesired results - I.e. making the image smaller.

Can anyone who knows about this take a look at our homepage and see if they know what method will work?

If it fails in IE8 then you might be the problem TBQH . I've hear about the problem but i've never seen it myself in IE8 . IE 6 might have that problem and there are ways to fix it , many many ways .

Why not use transparent gifs instead?

Internet explorer sucks, but does it work in IE9 most users should have the newer one I presume.
