I try using Google Toolbar in IE and it is indeed showing up the correct PR..other tools like SEOquake are working differently?
What's the relation between PR and Steve Jobs? Looks like there's more to this than what meets the eye.. until then we can only wait and watch.
I have been reading stuff here and there and as far as I understand google pr is showing fine in google toolbar. If you want to see page rank you have to install google toolbar. Looks like they have banned all other sites that were showing this data.
I think Google is not liking to measure the PR using 3rd party programs and so they may change the algorithm.
@Ragu_007,As you know Google has made changes in its algorithm,so 3rd party tools takes some hours after PR update to show Real Pagerank of all Domains.
Of course, you are right. But i think they have just prepared a fresh algorithm because the PR is not changed. It remains same for all the sites. Have you noticed any changes in the PR?
No,not till now,My all Sites PR are same but i am thinking that maybe Google Pagerank update could happen in next few hours or days
Most probably they will do update on end of December or beginning of January i think. But not sure, just a guess.
As Everybody know,Google now updates Minor update every week and major update 2 times each month from June, and not like before that it used to do 1 major update each 3 months from last many years so one could not predict when Google will update next Pagerank update-like before or like now
Google changed the URL To query PAGERANK, that's all! Wait for website owners or extension authors to release a new working version of the extension. Meanwhile I think the google toolbar works! IT'S NOT A PAGERANK UPDATE.
You are an idiot who really knows nothing. I wish they would ban you and your rubbish. you run around this forum asking for discounts on PR domains and when sellers dont give them to you, you start hijacking their threads. Grow up and leave us alone. Google has simply changed the method of retrieving PR from their servers, which means all 3rd party tools will have to change too. The old way was to construct a GET string like this hxxp://toolbarqueries. google . com/search?client=navclient-auto&ch=blahblah&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&features=Rank&q=info: with the 'ch' variable being a checksum generated by running the url, in this case , through an algorithm. They've periodically changed this checksum generation algorithm over the years, and 3rd party tools have always had to play catch-up. Dont beleive me? Check PR in I.E using google toolbar. You sir are a certified idiot. Now go and harass people somewhere else
change the API setting on SEOquake be like this [NAME]=Google pagerank [TITLE]=PR [URL_R]=http://toolbarqueries.google.com/search?client=navclient-auto&hl=en&ch={gchecksum}&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&features=Rank&q=info:{url|encode} [REGEXP]=Rank_.*?:.*?:(\d+) to : [NAME]=Google pagerank [TITLE]=PR [URL_R]=http://toolbarqueries.google.com/tbr?client=navclient-auto&hl=en&ch={gchecksum}&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&features=Rank&q=info:{url|encode} [REGEXP]=Rank_.*?:.*?:(\d+) Code (markup): you can find it on right click on SEOquake icon -> preference -> google pagerank -> edit and then you will be able to view google pagerank again on SEOquake
