Another fraud way opted by a publisher to earn money from AdSense. Oh God!

    Hello to all,
have a look at the image below which states a Facebook application who wants to earn money by begging for clicks to us. Waiting for your comments on it. What should AdSense do to detect and stop those sites?

They've got a little link on the ads where you can report the publisher, there's not a great deal more they can do. Notice the plea for clicking is an IMAGE so a bot won't be able to just parse the text and ping them for violation, which is pretty smart on the part of the publisher.

I think those who don't know about AdSense will click for sure if they enjoyed the app.

    Ironically, it's "atrocious".

On topic: The best you can do is report the link. Regardless of how 'clever' it may be, it's still against the TOS and he shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. Google has plenty of apps that can 'read' images (Google goggles, for example) taken by a phone, so I have a feeling they can also read images on web pages as well.

You are right, reporting is the only way. But we only know about a publisher who is doing this. In this world there might be thousands of publishers doing this. What about the advertisers of Adwords :(

People are very lazy nowadays. They can't just be millionaire overnight. What a way to earn money through Google adsense through asking people to click the ads to help the webmaster. Might as well have this guy reported and have his website banned by Google. People like these make honest publishers loose money or opportunity to earn more in the future.
