Someone threaten to put me in the sandbox should i alert Google? Or Adsense

I paid someone to make manual links and he send me the wrong excel and they did not link as they should. I told him that and he got pissed and wanted money anway. I said i want the right excel and i pay you.

He got even more pissed and say he use xrumer (no he tells me he use a software nice lie) to basically sandbox my Adsense sites.

    1. Can he do that?
    2. Is there anything i can do to stop it?

yes, he can do that by creating spammy links which could put your site in sandbox.

XRumer is a blackhat seo software that spams your links to websites to boost your rank. That is not going to get your site sandboxed. That can get your site heavily penalized by Google, or worse.

I suggest you terminate your services with this individual and either do the backlinking yourself or hire a professional to do it. Hopefully, you get to build enough quality backlinks to balance out the old ones.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Yes they can do that to you, mate. By using xRummer he/she can create spammy comments and use your URL to link on that anchor. This definately will make google sees that the links to your site are completely unnatural and your site can be punished into sandbox, though

I recommend to build quality backlinks to your site, by building contextual or text links theme related to your site. Hope this way will fix the bad linking I think.
No one knows exactly if this is effective, but you can try this :)

Do you mean you have LESS traffic than ever? I suggest that you do SEO on your own or if you can't do this task, then hire someone who will do SEO for you from oDesk or eLance. Make sure to check the individual's background and feedback (I think they call them virtual assistants or something like that) before hiring them. It would be easier for you to manage an individual versus someone who works for an SEO company.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

If you have more traffic than ever, then check where the traffic is coming from. Google Analytics can show you where your traffic is coming from and you can check the links you have on that referring site. You can also search for your backlinks and check the sites you have links on.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Well you can even file a request from google webmaster tool if you see any irrevalent backlinks pointing to your site requesting google that you havent done it and they make look into it and manually lift your site.

google seems to understand people trying to blacklist websites and doesn't sandbox sites that easily. I believe that it is a complex equation comparing quality of links and if too many are bad compared to the good then penalty but good links will get your site back to good. That is what I have learned and believe. Otherwise firms would be in wars of attrition rather then just building their own sites.

I would also keep an eye on your Adsense account to make sure he doesn't try to get you banned there by clicking a bunch of ads.
