    Just a quick question ....... Does the number if ad blocks on the same page drive down your CTR.

    Nope. It depends on how you integrate your ads in your site.

    Thank you ...... when browsing some sites they appear to be covered in ads Which I think looks awful, which inturn I thought would lower the CTR.

    the ads that are displaying on your site are of fixed rate. if you show 2 ads / 3 ads the rate of the ads don't change. it remains constant.

    You can show maximum of 3 ads on one page btw.

    sorry if this gets a little off topic, but is that 3 ads per page, or 3 codes per page? As if can I show the same ad code twice on the same page?

    Google is smarter than all of us :)

    Their adsense code takes care of showing only upto 3 image ads and 3 text ads on a single page (even if you try to put more than 3).
    This does not mean that you should put the adsense code more than 3 times on a page - you never know when Google changes their internal code.

    It can also shows different ads even if you put same adsense code more than once on the same page.

    there is a limit for ad blocks , but there is a certain ratio of ads/content , but this is in the Google quality guide , it is how they determine if your website is mainly for adsense
