None on them, they all use religion to justify killing other people.

How about these two persons persecuted in the name of Islam or Mohammad for nothing, and the pastor even senteced to death and all this is happening in dominantly muslim countries? Do you read this kind of stuff or you just ignore it? Or do you think, they are justly persecucted?

An Iranian pastor who has refused to renounce his Christian faith faces execution as early as Wednesday after his sentence was upheld by an Iranian court.

These are terrible injustices and should be condemned but Christians ought to remind themselves that their hands are not free of blood either.Look at what Serbian Christians did to those 8,000 Muslim men in Srebanitcha.(sp.wrong)and let us not forget the troubles in Northern Ireland.Collective punishments or crimes against the individual are just as disturbing, and both are done in the name of religion and are worthy of contempt.Either side can bring up specific examples.Let us come together as human beings and fight all injustice together.

The Christ's teaching is against violence and killings. So how those "Serbians" are Christians if they used violence and killings? It is impossible for one to be truly Christian and to kill people as Christianity is based on Love.
The Serbian's violence was not used on the bases muslims offended Christianity or Christ.

The above references are on the bases of non muslims rejected Islam or offended Mohammad by accident and were persecuted for that.
A lot of muslims keep quiet when violence is used to "Defend Islam or defend the name of Mohamad", which means they support such actions or don't have the courage to speak out.
Man needs ideas to live by, and when somebody tries to sell you something like "Islam is the best religion" I want to see how high of ideals that religion teaches. What kind of a religion is this one which gives the right ot its followers to persecute anyone who "offends it, denounce it, or offends its creator"? A religion that does not have Love as a fundamental principle is not from God. The lies otherwise could be true should stop, because from experience we know it could lead to war. There is hardly a greater crime than this - one human being to kill another. Absolutely no killings, and the use of violence must be eradicated from the societies. The truth although unpleasent at times must be told. Lower ideals cannot be reconciled with the higher ones.

If your point is that both Islam and Christianity have adherents that fail to understand the teachings of their respective faiths and commit evil in the name of said faith, then I agree with you.

It is that "Christians" don't want to practice Christ's commandment "Love one another." You don't hear that from politicians in Christian countries.

In muslim countries except Turkey probably and the former Soviet Union countries, it is the Islamic religios leaders who are actully pulling the strings on persecuting people based on religion. And they know the quran and its teaching. Do you understand the difference? The persecution ideas they get are coming from the quran.

Religious interpretations evolve.Look at how the Roman Catholic church was in regards to "heresy" and inquisitions.Islam is evolving too and will come into a more modern format. We need to encourage moderate Muslims and continue to resist hardliners. To do otherwise is prejudicial hate mongering.Again I say that most Muslims are moderate and we ought to not paint all Muslims with one giant paintbrush. The nazis did this in the 1930's with the Nuremburg laws against the Jews.I don't care for making rhetorical war against an entire religion or race for that matter.

What I disaprove is those ideas of persecution.
Otherwise all people are brothers and sisters and should help one another, no matter what religion they follow (I hope you understand there is no hatred for muslims or anyone else in my thoughts.). My disagreement with some Islamic concept does not translate into any sort of hatred. Hatred is a negative feeling which hurts everybody. Replace hatred with love and your things will start to improve. The one who shows love is the right one.

Brothers and sisters must be an inner understanding. Put it as an idea in you. You will still zig zag in life, but upwards spiritualy.

Being a Hindu-born, I appraise all Hindu rituals that highly include the rules of humanity and love for all. God bless us all.
