Dmoz : I always wondered know it is evident, The Dmoz factor, Finally some proof of the corruption in Dmoz, my focus on being reviewed by any of the volunteer editors died a long time ago, if you review the recourses forum of Dmoz the few die hard volunteers like Jim Noble will die with the corrupt dream and vision of the largest PAID human edited directory. It is safe to say that Dmoz is the biggest link farm in the world “ Google Will Investigate†Long live the DMOZ Link Farm Jim Noble’s Friend
Haha, Jim I hope you are doing great, Attention Forum Please disregard my previous smoke ... I mean post ... I just wanted to see if Jim would greet me. As for Dmoz, I believe that it is functioning fairly good... Just imagine all the requests volunteers need to work on, give them a change they will get to your website in time. Paying for something that is free is ...smoke, stupid. Jim you take care …. Will pm you later
I have wondered why some sites are listed dozens or even hundreds of times in the DMOZ while other similar sites are only listed once. I've thought that there might be some corruption happening or a backroom deal done for cash. It's the only answer that's made any sense to me.
Aside from popular news sites, and educational sites, MANY of the ones with multiple listings are actually owned by editors (see Skrenta's nearly 20k listings of duplicate content for a single site) others are seemingly paid (There was a completed trans action with positive feedback on scriptlance for just such a thing). But there is no corruption, just ask an editor!
