Yes, everyone that signs up for my service is on my email list (about 800 users), I also have over 7000 users of my PC software with no official email list but I can still email them all if I want.
Thanks, I got a Fiverr deal that says they will send Facebook, Twitter and other traffic, I'll see how that goes. A bit unrelated but I also got a person to do a voiceover of a video screen capture demo of the software program I sell, once the video and voice are combined and put on my site it should help increase sales.
Not many sales from it, it just provides visitors to your page, most of them bounce after 1 page view. It's mostly used to boost alexa ratings and help you show up higher on search engine results for your content.
I cannot post the link as it is from another forum - and I do not wish to violate the rules of this forum.
There are many great ways to get traffic without going broke or waiting months. I believe diversity of traffic sources is the key. As a starting point, why not check out the Buy, Sell or Trade section of this forum?
Video marketing is a great way to drive traffic. You can do things like add a clickable link right on the video and adding annotations to get viewers attention and remind them of what action you want them to take. And you don't have to use fancy software. If you've got Windows Live Movie Maker already installed on your system, you can use that.
Are you looking for long term traffic or short term? Obviously the "Free" route reduces avenues, but there are plenty of choices available. Building backlinks through article marketing, forum marketing, .edu links, .gov links, and even wiki links can have a major impact on your traffic and rankings over the long haul. It all takes work, especially using Facebook and Twitter. They are great if you want to see results now, but if you need long term benefits you have to setup certain things on both sites. Whether it's a Fan or Business page, interacting with groups, or anything similar will come into play. Remember; you have to get traffic in those locations to gain traffic to your website. In the end, patience, discipline, and a good strategy with free traffic makers will provide the best benefits.
I'd like both short term traffic to help boost sales within a few days if possible, as well as getting long term traffic. How can I get started with article marketing? Also people here keep telling me to use Facebook and Twitter to get traffic but they never gave me much if any details on how to use Facebook and Twitter to get traffic, so although it's something I want to do, I have no idea what to do to get traffic from Facebook and Twitter. Where can I learn about this? Thank you
