Not sure I understand the "Inline Text Ads"...

    Hey all,

    I'm trying to advertise on DP for the first time, and although I do understand the banner and email advertising models pretty well, I'm not sure I understand the inline text ads model. I thought I would be bidding on keywords inside threads, but that doesn't seem to be the case. How does this work exactly? It asks me for a title and description for my ad, then it asks me to enter keywords to bid on. Are these keywords based on search results? Thread title/content? How will my ad appear? Will it automatically make the keyword clickable and link to my site? If that's the case, where would the title and description of the ad appear?

    Sorry for all these questions, but I'm just trying to understand and not waste money.

    so why am I entering a title and description for the ad? Doesn't it just link the keyword to my URL?

    Mostly it's just for yourself (for reports and such) so you know which ad is which.

    Can you tell me how much it would cost me to post ads in the website or domain sales forum per 1000 impressions.

    An approximate figure will do thanks.
