I think that Kerry is very serious about Bush Cheney policy being a big joke on the American people!

That is a fact, the Iraq war is a major disaster for America!

No, He really didn't. He was backed in the corner by fellow Demorcrats. And was only done a few days before the November 7 elections. And was asked to cancel the rest of his speaking engagements etc., for the next few days. The Demacrats felt Kerry can do more damage than good for the Democrats in the next few days.

It was a forced apology. Not a sincere one.

Not too crazy about Kerry, but what he said has bits of truth in it. "If you do not study hard, you get stuck in Iraq" which is doing someone else's dirty work unless you are born with a silver spoon in your mouth.

Bush and Cheney are happy to send high school kids and little girls that joined the National Guard to their deaths for Halliburton, Exxon and BP!

To them it is the American dream!

John Kerry is right, he has the balls to expose these slime bags in the White House!

Quote from the above linked article:

More than 70 percent of the dead were soldiers in the Army, and more than 20 percent were marines. More than half were in the lowest-paid enlisted ranks. About 12 percent were officers. Three-quarters of the troops died in hostile incidents: most often, homemade-bomb explosions, small-arms fire, rocket attacks. A quarter died in illnesses or accidents: truck and helicopter crashes and gun discharges.

On average, the service members who died were about 26. The youngest was 18; the oldest, 59. About half were married, according to the death roll, which does not include a handful yet to be identified by the Defense Department and three civilians who worked for the military.

Part-time soldiers, the guardsmen and reservists who once expected to tend to floods and hurricanes, were called to Iraq on a scale not seen through five decades of war. Increasingly, Iraq is becoming their conflict, and in growing numbers this spring and early summer, these part-time soldiers died there. Ten times as many of them died from April to July of this year as had in the war's first two months.

Just lets assume he refered to his term in service and only to himself, that I'd support.

Silverspoon = elitist (John kerry for example)

There are many who study hard and end up serving still, so it is just a false generalization. I know a couple a very bright young men serving to keep us safe.

I joined the army with the intension of it helping me get through college. Things changed however.

So what is it to say about those who are doctors, lawyers etc who are do full careers in the Armed Forces. As well as those who went and graduated from West Point and the Naval Academy. These are all educated men and woman with varying degrees. As well as those who are trained in electronics, mechanical work, cooking, computer specilists etc. They are all dumb. Really people. Some of you really need a reality check.

There is a difference between those who choose to serve and those who have no options. If you do bad in school, you have less options.

If you did bad in school, are you a doctor?
If you did bad in school, are you a lawyer?
If you did bad in school, can you get into West Point?
If you did bad in school, can you get into Naval Academy?
If you did bad in school, are you a trained specialist in electronics, mechanical work, cooking or computers?

Think about the kids who are 18 and in Iraq, why the hell are they even there? They have no knowledge of how the world even works yet, nor read any textbook that teaches them to think outside the institutionalized education system. If Iraq is a just war, I am all for it, but damn we are fighting for Halliburton.

So there are no doctors over there to fix the wounded or lawyers for any court marshalls or for the detainees. There are no mechanic specialists over there. There are no civil engineers over there, there are no cooks or computer specialists. Dah dude your out there. Do you not realize we have those specialists fighting on the front lines as well. Think who will repair the wounded bodies or who will those soldiers in legal matters. Who will feed them at mess halls. Who will repair the transportation over there, The water specialists who treat the water. Again think about it.

I'm too busy to play right now, but I wanted to come back and make a statement on the John Kerry lunacy.

When you guys, GTech and Mia, talk, I tend to not believe you and I didn't even see what he had said and how. However, I have now.

This guy is a fucking moron.

    Thank you for your attention.

I'm working on a moonbat filter for VB that triggers an auto ignore on keyword phrases such as haliburton, nixon, cheney, etc... I am about 40% complete on the conspiracy theory detection portion which will automatically send out moonbat warning alerts via email, page and or a flashing moon/bat icon in your VB Control Panel...
