.html or .php?

No, SEO-wise they're the same.

 

My preference is with PHP

 

I prefer HTML since its much easier to get around. I feel that its easier to read aswell.

 

So maybe you can tell me how you're managing to create web sites without html and only php. No one else is able to.

In my opinion .Php extension is the best option.But you can use .html extension also.because .html extension is easy to use.

 

AND IT KEEPS GETTING WORSE!!! My god... There needs to be a stupid penalty that subtracts posts that are dumb, ignorant and or spam. This way those trying to pad post count HAVE to, at a minimum, use some portions of brain power...

PHP is better to use than Html.

 

Usually they are used together..... for dynamic website

 

I think very is use .php because of it's dynamic features.

Hmm, lets see...if your building a site that actually uses PHP than use .php, if your content is static than use .html...

 

If you are using any dynamic php scripts then .php extension is much suitable than using .html

 

I think it depends which one you better with.

if you are good at both, i will prefer php

i was hoping to come in here and find good comparisons and reasons as to why one is better than the other but I dont see any good replies :-/

If you are actually PROGRAMMING WITH PHP you HAVE to use .PHP for the server to execute the script.
You can't PROGRAM in HTML since it's only a markup language.

I can see it now, half the people on this thread have .PHP files with only HTML tags in it
