As a child growing up in Catholic France I was often told stories about angels by the nuns.I very much believed in them and found comfort with the idea of a loving guardian angel watching over me.Wish I was still able to believe in them today. An angel is a human form with wings but is actually a spirit, almost every religion has them. They are sometimes called cherubs. They are supposed to be very loving and perform acts of kindness.Have you ever believed in angels, and do any of you believe in them now?
@br3adman If there are angels in the cosmos we should bring them here to earth. We sure could use some loving entities on this cold hard planet with all it's cruelty huh? @Digital_shubbi The in your face bitchy diva is dead.In her place is now this loving angel.I like this character better. There are two sides to everyone and my angel side is now flying over DP.If no one gets in "my" face then maybe I can stay being an angel ha*ha!
I used to school in Catholic school, but I never believed in such nonsense. Now, I believe angels that were seen by people from biblical age were probably aliens from outer space, they might use some sort of flying device and people mistook it as wings. I read in bible, angels had supernatural abilities including shapeshifting and telepathy. The shapeshifting ability was probably alien technology for them to blend with people while the telepathy was communication device similar to modern day radio.
I am not religious nor have I ever been but i do believe in angels. I believe we are each awarded angels throughout our lives that will look after us in some way, shape or form. I find this comforting. I dont per-say believe that they are godly looking creatures with wings and halos, but rather... simple spirits of those that lived before us.
@g36 What you are alluding to is generally referred to as the "ancient astronaut theory".Erich von Daniken wrote a couple of interesting books on the subject. The best known of these is "Chariots of the Gods". @Emily Johnson Nice thought, interesting perspective. @hashif You believe in angels but did not tell us why.
@sarpas2005 We are told that all angels are created by God. @tripentacur Angels appear in just about all religious books. The theme is the same, loving entities that represent God and have your best interests at heart. @hashif Thanks, now we know why you believe in angels. @dcristo I am a fallen angel and therefore imperfect. But my wings will heal soon enough. @daniel davis Many people besides yourself believe in angels. @yornold Well then,no angels for you.
@yes, Spoiltdiva no angels made for me who fulfill my all dreams.. I am so unlucky..so i can't believe in angel..
