Contest Women's pool / 8-ball logo contest - $50 prize via Paypal.

Hi DPers, another contest, this one is for a Country Women's Pool (8ball) Association.

Old logo:

Sorry to be vague on this one but I have no specific information about colours or design, just that they are wanting a logo for the women's pool league.

Prize money is $50 and will be paid via Paypal.

Winner will be announced on the 5th of October.

As this one is for an non-profit association and I can't waste their money, I reserve the right not to choose any designs if none are suitable to the client's liking however I am personally guaranteeing payment if a design is chosen.

I will comment on each entry, though please keep in mind my opinions are not neccessarily those of my clients. I will present entries received here to the client every couple of days and provide their feedback when I get it.

Hi pspro, thanks for asking. None really, it's a logo to go with different things. If you want you can use 'country women's pool association' but it's just the logo that will be judged/wanted. The main site is being built at b e n d i g o c u e s p o r t s . com but this logo will be for the women's teams.

Thanks for your efforts DPers. I can't say I like the 8 the way it is, might look better only showing half of it?.

They're looking okay but I think much better quality is needed. I can see you've put effort in but please remember the prize is $50, not $15.

I think you'll need to put some more thought into it to be considered. What would you think a women's pool logo should look like and if you were running the club?

That look's like it should be called Charlie's Pool Angels haha. More suitable to a pool team than the organisation itself I believe.

May I also point out I wrote the word 8ball here because I didn't want you to be confused with swimming. Here in Australia, it's called "pool" so it doesn't need to have the number 8 on the ball/logo.

Has anyone thought of something other than a ball? You may also note the original logo seems to include a triangle, a breast (I think) & a pool cue.
