Hello, My skills are very limited when it comes to Photoshop but I would love to learn more could some one point me in the right direction of some very basic Tutorial websites Ross.
Try YouTube there are a lot of good vids there but .... Before you boldly venture where no pixel has ever ventured before here is a small reminder :
Hiya mate, there is alot of tutorials on photoshop on online. Just google it. Here is one you can start on psd.tutplus. Be aware though that there is alot of sites out there with the same tutorials so just keep moving on to the next one if this is the case.
Video tutorials are the best for learning Photoshop. I have learned it from Lynda.com, it is a very helpful resource.. Try it and you won't be disappointed.
I've done some basic video tutorials.. Masks, layers, adjustment layers, brush tool.. Of course they are all on youtube
What specifically do you want a tutorial for? Illustration tutorials will probably be teaching you a lot more about brushes, while photo editing tutorials will be going through layer adjustments + selections. (Of course, there's a lot of crossover)
I think every thing is available in YouTube ,and beginner should start from here to make his practice good.
video tutorials are indeed a good way to learn.. .also, you can check out work samples done by masters.. .just to learn some techniques.. .you can check a lot of them at deviantart for example.. .
