Hi, It's odd that the main page is cached http://72.14.221.104/search?sourceid=mozclient&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&q=cache:www.affiliatelookup.com but no results show in any of the McDar DC's. I don't think it's banned though. I think that it does not have enough links. Saying that, there are more pitfalls when buying old domains. Was it an expired domain?
hmm weird, it shows incentaclick.com in the google results for the domain.. http://72.14.221.104/search?hl=en&q=http://www.affiliatelookup.com/&btnG=Google+Search i never redirected to it though i bought the domain couple months ago i think
Michael, This more than likely means that the domain has no actual links going to it unless you added some yourself since you bought it. You are dealing with a brand new domain for all intents and purposes and new domains can take a while to get spidered. I expect that the people that owned the domain before had a redirect set up and then decided to let the domain lapse. If the domain has had some content on it in the past it would be better for you as you will have to go through the whole sandbox thing with it Still, it looks less and less likely that the domain has been banned! Good luck, Jez.
he has links, hense the PR, I think it's Google being Fickle, when did you first notice the domain wasn't in the Google index?
He may not have links or PR. The links could have been removed by the previous owner or may have been another redirect that has been removed. The PR would still show until the next PR update probably.
check this http://www.alltheweb.com/search?cat=web&cs=iso88591&q=link%3Awww.affiliatelookup.com&rys=0&itag=crv&_sb_lang=pref I see 1,190 links coming into affiliatelookup.com so there's definately some there! I've seen quite a few websites 'hiccup' out of the index for a wek or 2, then there back as if nothing happened... possibly could be hitting a different datacentre?
Yeah. That is odd. Unless as I stated before that the domain had expired and therefore all links (in googles eyes) would be null. It would explain quite a bit if that were the case. I checked all the McDar DC's and there was nothing. Having said that I did find a cached copy of the index page so it's on some DC somewhere!
lol, probably the easier option, but the domain is short and catchy (hense why Micheal bought it I think) and has the keyword 'affiliate' at the start of it
I've had a couple sites drop it and out of google recently....they were both new sites and I decided to change the over topic and theme of the sites....I guess thats why..
did you change the page names too? doing that will cause all the pages already listed to drop out, but your index page shouldn't of been dropped for a re-brand...
You must create a letter of reinclusion and email it to Google Edited: Before you do that, make sure you have edited your website in a clean way without black hat methods detected by Googlebot
