Has Anyone Added Google+ to their Directory?

Has Anyone Added Google+ to their Directory. If yes, how did it go?

Is this something that everyone should be doing?

 

I did not added google+ to my directory because in my opinion this comunity is not very large. Maybe I will add google+ after a while.

 

I agree to you. Can anybody tell us more about Google+?

Although the Google+ community is low but there is no harm adding it.

 

I have not tried i t personally but, have seen it being used in few directories. One of the more noticeable one is skaffe.com

It looks quiet good and I think it would be nice implementation for directories.

 

Only just added it to Tajboy along with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Too early to tell but I can't see any harm in it.

 

The thing to add to your directories and all the listings is the Google +1

 

I use it and love it. With Google + you have people that you are "following" or in your "circles" and it is WAY easier to add friends than Facebook. You can add as many as you want in one sitting. Example, I added 1000 yesterday.. you can't do that with Facebook. It also has what they call "hangouts" and I have used this feature to have 5 of use on live video chat at the the same time. I thought it worked great.

Do I think people should be using it? Heck ya! No question about it.

My next thought is this; if you have more than one gmail account, can you have more that one profile? For example, one personal and one business? I am thinking this will fly. What does everyone else think?

Also, after I went back and read what everyone was asking, they don't seem to think the community it large enough? I have read several times that is it growing faster than Facebook ever did, I would try it if I were you guys. It sure can't hurt anything.

Another thing that I like about it is this: the people that I am adding, I don't know them. On Facebook, I know the majority of my 1500 friends, and I feel funny promoting to them, most of them I went to school with. Am I wrong to feel funny about that?

 

It sounds like the Facebook vote will be worth more. On the other hand, Google will have all the G+ data. I dont think they are getting the access to Facebook data that they would like.

 

In my personal opinion Facebooks likes are worth more right now, however, I think the +1 is a close race. Have you noticed when you do a google search that you can click the +1 button and your profile picture shows up?

Read what Webpronews and Mashable have to say about it. I am signed up for both of their newsletters and I actually read what they have to say.

 

I have recently added +1 to my SEO directory, too early to see the results but I will update when I have more time to see any benefits.

I feel funny about that too. That's why I almost never use my main facebook account for promotional activities.

 

I am glad I am not the only one that feels funny about that. I never want any of them to feel like I am spamming them.

 

Google+ is a good, new but small platform, you could add your directory on this, no harm...

Will be nice if the Google+ button is customizable. Current design seems either too long (56662 people +1'd this) or too short (57k)
