books in books.google.com have Copyright ???

    all books in google books books.google.com have Copyright ???
    I think it isn't but i want to be sure from u

    Not all books on books.google.com are copyright.

    Public domain books or books from unknown authors do not have copyright.

    Ok - this goes for anything you get off the net including images.
    ALWAYS assume it is copyright unless it states otherwise. NOT the other way around!

    It should be stated in the book itself wheather that book is copyrighted or not.

    Off course they have copyright unless someone makes it free from copyright .

    Google books are the great way to promote books .
    most of the publisher post few pages for free .

    I think google just ended up scanning a whole lot of books and made them searchable. I imagine a lot of them do have copyright issues, but lets face it if the book hasn't been published in a while the author's probabaly glad it's still out there, even if its in google books.
