Thanks for reading. My site has had a number of keywords on the first page of google for over one year and now... all of a sudden... every one of the keywords is not ranking in the first 10 pages of google or anywhere? Url is two years old and is PR 2. Site has over 30,000 pages indexed in google and 8,000 linkin in yahoo site explore. My site is functioning good, or that same as it always has.Can someone please help!!!Thank you in advance for your time!

There are many people experiencing this, it looks like sites are starting to "Google Dance" again. Just keep building your links and adding fresh new content and hopefully it will relax and find it's place again soon.

Unfortunately, it's hard to say. Some will say days and some will say who knows. For me, it's always been within a couple of days. Just keep building relevant links (don't blast links) and add fresh relevant content. I wouldn't worry about for now, just do the link building and adding content and watch. Keep us posted.

I think you might need to resubmit your website to google or change some sitemap settings. Have you touch anything or change the url location of any page?
Like wht they said, you can continue on your link building and it should be back soon.

Unique Content, Link Building, Social Media Linking...you said you pinged the links. So make some sort of link building schedule everyday, then just sit back and wait

I think forums and articles submission play a vital role for link building. Make sure that you regularly do it.

Thanks Captonles - Is there anyway I can find out the what link building I have dont that is not good according to google? Or, google dance. I build links by - Articles Submission, Social Bookmarking, Social Media, Directory Submission, Forum Posting, Blog Posting (PR 2 or higher with related content only... no link farms), buy links on sites that comply with google panda... Also, I do not creat links to quickly...

One of mу sites аlѕо experienced ѕоmеthіng similar abоut a month аnd а half ago. Two of my innеr pages juѕt disappeared frоm thе SERPs аnd theу bоth werе ranking on the 1st page. I соuldn't figure out why bесаusе thе content was unique and оf high quality (in my opinion).

I didn't dо аnythіng drastic, I juѕt left іt аѕ iѕ - I dіdn't even backlink thоѕe pages! A week ago аfter been іn the abyss fоr оver a month, both pages returned tо the 1st page аnd theу аrе now ranked еven higher thаn they wеrе before.

Keep іn mind thаt thеsе pages hаvе PR, ѕo thеy wеre nоt new or anything. I stіll hаvеn't figured оut whу thіs occured, so, I guess it will remain а mystery.

Just wait іt out аnd ѕee whаt happens! Concentrate on anоther project tо tаkе yоur mind of іt - thаt's what I did!

    @Tanner2729 , @Guisbar

    Hello,

I am also experiencing the same situation here. Actually its started from google pande latest update (July 27th I think). I were using article submissions (Spin versions) mostly for high search engine ranking. But the google panda release (First Release) hit almost all article directory sites. Because the article directories having large amount of duplicate content (even syndication is not an issue). And the following panda releases eventually affects the sites linking from those article directories.

I think currently article submissions must handle with care. Otherwise it may affect the search engine ranking.

Use more press releases, and link from authority sites (even if its no-follow) it will make a visible change in 2 weeks.

    Regards
    aju

i don't think its Google dance. its probably due to the new update of Google Panda. is it happening after the Google new PR up Date?
then i think there are some problems in your contents.
    thanks

@Tanner2729 : The most affected site by google panda update is ezinearticles.com. And its the best available article directory. So its better to avoid article submissions for a while, and you can do press releases instead of this. And now the links from a page contains duplicate content also making a negative impact.

These all are from my experiments and analysis.
