Most directory scripts only allow the same title to be used once in a category. Just choose another one. You should vary your title anyway.

CanadianEh is right. You want to vary your titles anyway when you do directory submissions. Try to use 10 to 20 different variations of the keywords your trying to target. That will look more natural to google and will reduce the chance your links will be discounted.

It means that you have already submitted your site using the same title some time in the past. It already is present in the directory. Change the title, make it unique and then try resubmitting it.

It normally happens when you or some one else has already submitted with the similar title and even in the same category and is live present there. You either have to change the sequence of title or has to submit it to some another related category, might work.

It only takes a few seconds to change your title, so take advantage of it. In the long run, it will only help you. In fact, we would recommend making it a point to change your title each time. If it's in your normal routine it won't feel like such a bear.

The amount of time it took to submit this question on DP; how many titles could you have changed? We aren't asking this to be mean (so don't be offended), but just to give you a glimpse at the actual time it would take.

    Good luck~

you have to change your title when directory site are asking you to change because some sites are accepting a particular title only once in a particular category!

Most directory scripts only allow the same title to be used once in a category. Just choose related another one category.

It's get frustrating when you've done many keyword variations already and now you are focusing few competitive keywords. For example, many old directories are already having "SEO Services" or "SEO Company" title for listing. So, you'll be in problem optimizing that keyword :)

In this case, if somebody wants I change the Title through editing Database.

It means there is an active or pending link in directory database containing the same title with your title. submit your site in other categories that still relevant to your niche, or change your title

Having duplicate titles can surely confuse human readers to choose which one is a relevant site. It is tricky for search engines bots if a majority of the outgoing links from a page has the same anchor text. This can generate suspicion of link manipulation and thus reducing the overall link value.

Just make a tiny revision to the title. Changing one or two words won't affect your seo.

Title checks the category that you choose and if you choose a wrong category then its give an error. So, you just choose a specific category for your title.
