well this caught the auto industry by surprise I'm sure, Jay Leno building his own super car.

What do you get when you cross a comedian, the desire to make a "Green Car", a Corvette chassis and a Honeywell LT-101 turbine engine? Ecojet, by Jay Leno.
Leno unveiled at SEMA this week his apparently very secret little project in making a Green supercar that has seemingly been in the works for a while now. Will it make it to reality? Doubtful, but one can only hope this sexy and admittedly desirable creature can bring some fruit to the table of autodome.

Ya, one of the first things I thought of was the Cadillac Sixteen show car from a few years ago.

 

It does look a lot like a Cadillac.

Jay Leno's jokes may not be funny but Jay Leno as a whole is a funny guy, and I'd rather watch Jay Leno than Carlos Mencia's sell-out-ass any day. Dee de Dee
