I'm interested in starting some US/UK/EU adsense sites but just wanted to know if adsense accounts can be split into multiple currencies?

Yes Google Adsense is a great way to earn online by advetising. It provides you various currencies according to your location. Like if you are in india you will get an option of indian rupees or us dollars. you can get paid by checks easily

Thanks for confirming that. So basically, you can't really split it down. Hmm I feel some short changing going on here, playing the currencies. I mean $0.50 a click isn't £0.50 that's for sure.

What makes you think it works that way? Obviously the numerical figure will change accordingly with the currency. Doesn't matter where you are based.

If you're primarily doing US traffic and some UK traffic but you live in the UK. Then your account balance will be held in USD, if today $1.00 USD = 0.62 GBP and then at the time your payment is sent out and $1.00 = 0.60 you've lost money.

That's why international business banking offers you the ability to hold money in multiple currencies, because it matters.

You mean registering different companies for adsense, but I still feel that's breaching the TOS. I'd never do it without speaking to them first.

If you think you will make a lot of money, than it makes sense to split in different currencies.

Unless you are expecting to make huge amounts of money from adsense I can´t see what you are worrying about. Just get on with building your sites.

Not really worrying about anything, just would be nice to earn in multiple currencies without it being exchange into another account currency. For international publishers right now you can understand why holding currency in dollars would be unfavorable.

And vice versa, Swings and roundabouts, evens out in the end. The only bad thing is possible weighting on the currency conversion.
