Different Keywords

    Hi,
Question and I will ask on example of page X and Y. Both page would be of course located on my website. If I was targeting keyword ''brand'' on page X and keyword ''random example'' on page Y and if someone searched on search engine with the keyword:

    brand random example

presuming that I meet criterias for both pages X and Y to occur on first page of results, which page would be shown?

Page X, page Y or both?

Your answer, for which I would kindly ask for, would be probably the same if, instead of ''brand'' was keyword with more than one word and/or if, instead of ''random example'' was keyword with either more or less words.

I think this will be optimized for your keywords related to the degree, if the keyword link building is very good, so be sure it is in theGoogle home page.

What do you mean with ''degree''? Also I was asking which page (X, Y or both) will be showed in that situation.

See it is depend on the quality of web page and keyword density of that page, if your keywords match with the contents then you will easily get the ranking in Google..

This has nothing to do with what I asked. Please read my question. As I wrote in my first post, we are presuming that I meet the criterias for both pages to occur on first page or to occur anywhere in search engine results. But now im searching for the answer.

I think even Google can't answer you. It is entirely depends on algorithm itself and is not controlled by anyone.

Google generally displays 'single' results for any given query but sometimes displays 'double' (one underneath the other.Google does not display more than 2 results from the same domain for any given query. This is to prevent the indexed being cluttered with 'Ebay' adverts, a problem in the past and to help Google out with their bandwidth issues. Whether you manage a single or a double entry would be dependant on the competitiveness of the terms and the strength of your pages

ok I knew already it depends on relevance, page rank and a lot of other factors about which page will be shown if visitor construct the search term which i am targeting on two DIFFERENT pages of my website. But if those factors really counts then i assume only one page will be shown? Yes google will ''decide'' which one but how come, as user Businessservicesuk said, both pages can also be shown?

If you have two pages for the search term , Google may display both pages. I have seen same site with different pages listed in same result page.
