Hey everyone, i got a little issue with chitika and i don't know how to deal with it, i recently register with chitika and put their code on my blog, but when i refresh my blog to see the ads, they didn't appear, please can you give me some advices, thank you very much.
I think that the ads are only for american residents that's why it doesn't appear on my blog, but i don't know how to know if the ads appear really for american visitors.
Hey - I'm Sarah, I work in Customer Support at Chitika, so I can definitely help you out with this! Have you tried running a Chitika test? Add #chitikatest=keyword to the end of your URL to preview the search targeted Chitika Premium ads. For example: www.cellphones.com#chitikatest=smart phone

No problem, that's what I'm here for! Map ads will show to relevant local users. So, they will not show 100% of the time, only when the search term that the ad is pulling from has a relevant local advertisers. The ads will be local to the site visitors' own locations, not just your location. Basically, you cannot disable the map ads, and this is a good thing! Local ads work very well in terms of Click Through Rates, because they are targeted to individual locations.

The eCPM rate is different for everyone, as it depends on many factors - the quality of your traffic, where your site visitors are located, the search queries most commonly used to find your site, time of day/month/year.. the list goes on! I would suggest just monitoring your stats on your dashboard, where eCPM is displayed.
Hi! I just got approved for Chitika today (Silver) My question was probably asked but how much do Silver domains earn per 1000 impressions/page views? or for 1 click? I know it varies, but what's the average you guys pay for this? (I'm looking for $ #.##'s here ) Hope the rates and everything else is as good as Google Adsense. Looking forward to this as I have placed my Chitika Ads above Adsense on my blog
Unfortunately I can't give you a number amount.. the best thing you can do is test the ads on your site and monitor your stats to see if Chitika is the right fit for you. Our ads work best on sites that receive mostly search traffic from our accepted countries (US, CA, UK, GB, DE, IT, ES NL, DK, NO, SE and India).
