Google Adsense Compliance team is getting crazy

I got an email from Adsense yesterday as a warning that my sites were getting invalid clicks or impressions but they never tell me which channel is causing the issue.

I never get anyone to click my adsense nor did I use any autosurf programs to do that and thus that makes me really puzzled as to why they say that I did. So naturally, I wrote back to ask them which channel or channels causing the issue because I really want to get to the bottom of this.

I've got an email from them a while ago telling me how superior their system is at tracking illegal clicks and they say that they cannot reveal to me any details other than that my account is in violation and that if I do not do anything about it, I could lose my account.

Like that is going to help me the least bit ? I mean I thought they would be happy to tell me know how I can find the issue. I did not go about clicking my adsense and I hardly visit my sites itself. I am not sure what is messing up their heads or system.

Some how I think it is a conspiracy to get as many people off their system especially if I am not performing too well for their customers. If there is genuine evidence against me, I believe they would be able to offer some information, it is not like they are leaking anything to a third party or anything, it is ME and my accounts.

Maybe it is really time to ditch them for good.

Well, not that I told them about the sites. My family members are not tech savvy and do not go on the internet apart from checking their emails.

I don't explicitly told my friends about my sites, the only publicity I have linking the sites to me are the Signature Links and probably the various sales posts to sell some of the sites recently. Other than that, the sites are just listed with other sites I do link exchanges with.

I never told anyone to click them in the first place. They are not interested in my sites anyways. Probably it is best that I remove all my signatures which may contain links to my websites which has adsense on them.

"Invalid clicks" can mean many things. Maybe, as Rob suggests, your friend are "helping you out" without telling you. Ask them, they might go, "Oh yeah, i was helping you out there." Don't dismiss it out of hand; it HAPPENS ALL THE TIME.

I was looking at my adsense results and at most I get about 3 clicks a day per site.

Okay, I will see what I can do. Failing which, I think I'll just remove adsense since I am hardly getting anything from them anyways.

The fewer clicks you have per day, the easier it is for Adsense to know if it's click fraud. That just means the same IP keeps popping up. I.e. your friends.

At least you got a warning rather than being banned outright. Spend some time going through the Adsense TOS.

I did go through the Adsense TOS. I read TOS and have anyways comply with them. It is just that they refused to tell me what I did wrong or which site is causing the issue that pisses me off. I mean if they have evidence that I am doing something wrong then be man about telling me about it.

I guess the warning probably means they probably have no grounds to say that I did anything wrong.

Any case, I am done with Adsense and Google Adwords. I have terminated all my Adwords campaign with them and I've removed all Adsense Banners from all my sites.

Conspiracy ?? consider your self lucky to get an email warning you instead of getting the banned email !

it's your job to find out where invalids click occured and take care of your account not them ...

    Good luck ;)

How do I go about finding out where the invalid clicks come from ? My web logs doesn't track adsense clicks or links as they are not part of my sites.

Of course, if I initiated the invalid clicks, I know where to go but I did not. The best options like I say is to say goodbye to adsense once and for all. They are no longer on any of my sites.

So if you've already decided to remove Adsense from your site, why bother arguing about it? Your decision to do away with Adsense has rendered the whole purpose of this thread moot.

    Let it die.

Well, I just needed a place to vent, I guess and I never liked being accused of something I did not do. I guess also to tell others know that in times like these, Google is just unhelpful in trying to help resolve the issue.

I am just frustrated and thought to do the most drastic thing and that is to remove them. I mean if they think I am cheating them then at least have the courtesy to tell me what I did wrong so I can right the wrong.

I had pics of their wives having sex with me. I spread it around myspace & they closed my accounts for viral marketing. At least they send an e-mail with humor

Yes, you would because I never clicked any of my banners, maybe only 1 time the first time around to see if they worked and yet I got the warning.

So the loophole is that if you know your competitions have adsense on their site and you want to mess them up, you just click their adsense banners several times a day for some time. Ensure you use the same IP address and the person would get banned or be warned.

Because Adsense will not reveal the logs of where the hits are coming from and they would provide you with any information apart from saying you have invalid clicks and impression activities, you are pretty safe because no one knows you are hitting your competitors site.

The other thing would be to send a bunch of traffic to the site but for that, your competition might track you via the web lots.
