Focus on your SERP's. Do your keywords research and target the keywords you want using them as the anchor text in your back link. Check out your webmaster tools dashboard and see what keywords and phrases you already rank for and build links for them first. You could also check your Google Analytics to see what keywords are bringing you traffic too.
Thank you very much for your help indyonline, you are very helpful and i'll follow your advices in the future to build quality links for my sites.
Proper Keyword Research and targeting the keywords that bring traffic is too important in ranking better on SERP. Link Building is important for good PR, but, if you have a professional site without any places to sell links, it is better to concentrate on SERP results only.
So are you suggesting us to do nothing to increase our site's PR and it will increase automatically or what? - just focus on SEPR, lolz
I'm suggesting you get over PR it's worthless unless you're selling links. and YES, work on SERP's if you wanna make real money that is. =p
A pagerank below 4 is worthless, above 4 you can sell links, anyways pagerank is just a nice google toy
You should not worry about page rank. Work for traffic and SERPs ranking only which is going to pay you in future.
this thread full of info for me, so indyonline i'd like to make sure about what u're saying, if i found a keyword from webmaster tools that give me some traffics, but the keyword isn't the one that i'm targetting atm, do i should changes my anchor text according to that give traffics keywords? thanks in advance
Yes, kinda. Some keywords will be hard to rank for because they have big competition. So you need to target the ones you can actually rank for first. BUT, I'm not saying you shouldn't still build links targeting your main keyword, but I would put a little more focus on the keywords you do rank for first to start getting traffic and earnings. Check out your Google Analytics and see what is actually bringing you traffic too and target those as well. Keep in mind Google will use keywords from the text on your pages so make sure you have the keywords in your articles. And the keywords your webmaster tools tells you that you already rank for, is probably based off of those.
Well you say that we should work and focus about the keywords that already brings traffic to our blogs that's good, but what if there are no keywords that brings traffic, how to proceed in order to drive traffic and have some keywords that brings traffic? thank you for answering.
The most important tool is blog for increase a page rank of the site. A blog is the inbound links for a particular site. The success of the great Google page rank is highly dependent on the number of inbound links to a page because inbound links should come from relevant sites it is beneficial for increase page rank.
Either your English is really bad or you have no idea what your talking about. Choose the keywords you want and make sure to use them in your pages title meta tag, keyword meta tag, head tags (h1,h2,h3), and about 3-5% of your articles text. Also build back links to that page using those same keywords as the back links text. There is not a set number.
