    Do you think The Shawshank Redemption should be No.#1 in imdb.I know its a good movie but do you all think that it deserves a no. #1 place in imdb?

    Well yeah, actually I do. There are a lot of other GREAT movies but it is hard to say which truly is the best. In my opinion Inception made a chance too but it is hard to decide which movie should be best.

    I think Transformer 3 is better, I love the effect they use. The Shawshank Redemption is not the best and not suitable for rank no 1

    Shawshank Redemption is a great film and must be up there as one of the best, another contender must be " the Sixth Sense ".

    Love Shawshank but if you compare movies of last 2 decades, then maybe. But if it is any movie in history then there are many many classics like GF1, GF2, citizen kane etc. Thing is online sites like imdb.com has mostly younger generation members/voters who are only familiar with recent movies of last 2 to 3 decades only so voting may be skewed towards recent movies like Shawshank. :)
