AdLogger

I have been reading a number of posts where people have mentioned how they check their adsense accounts many times a day.

I used to be one of thoses who checked their account every 10 minutes or so, but then I read about AdLogger on one of the forums here. If you are not familiar with it, I would highly recommend setting it up! It is an open source php application that prevents/logs multiple clicks, and better yet, emails you when you get a click!

If you have access to PHP and MySQL on your host, I would highly recommend checking it out - http://www.adlogger.org it has saved me hours of google checking.

I recommend Adsense status if you are using Google Desktop search. It stands in the sidebar.

I'll second that. What a great program. Your (updated) stats display in the status bar of your browser without having to continually login. You can set it to update as often as every 15 minutes. And if you ever want to login to your AS account, simply right click the stats and you're automatically logged in. Very cool.

What if you have 900 clicks per day? that would mean 900 e-mails? :D

I assume that option can be disabled ;)

Adlogger is written in PHP, so you need to be able to run PHP on your server, but the pages do not have to be written in PHP, they can be in any language (or even static html).

There is documentation on the adlogger site on how to install it, but basically you put the code up on your server, run the configure which sets up the database and database connection, then add some javascript to you page.

    Hope this helps.

I'm unable to install since my host does not allow 'allow_url_fopen' option :(

The new version doesn't need 'allow_url_fopen' enabled!!

I am using it right now.. and loving it. Love that 'send email when ad clicked' feature.. :)

I've been using the Adsense Notifier, and I've set it to 20 minutes, and for the daily total of revenue. It's nice to see it updated every now and again and to see the few cents falling into the a/c.

So I get it to display the Clicks and the Revenue.
