    dont worry guys, i think they are revalidating all the PAN numbers either manually or automatically before restoring accounts. so it may take some more. but it'll be done for all you guys for sure.. but yes, dont forget to start calling them tonight for the recovery of the loss we had due to bank withdrawal reversal.

    Subject- "Reminder: Your account will be limited until we hear from you"

    Dear XXX,

    We emailed you a little while ago to ask for your help resolving an issue
    with your PayPal account. Your account is still temporarily limited because
    we haven't heard from you.

    We understand it may be frustrating not to have full access to your PayPal

    purpose code and bank account in India to your PayPal account in order to
    receive payments and withdraw funds.

    WTF!!!

    I already received email from PayPal regarding PAN card last week and after that I add PAN card already.
    But PayPal system says: Your PAN was found to be invalid Fxxx! and it cause my account has been limited from receiving payments.

    I'm wonder that why they email me today again when I already contact us through email and explain everything yesterday.

    I called them yesterday, 7 min call. Most of the time went in spelling my name and company name..LOL

    Lady already knew that problem mostly associated with sole proprietorship as personal Pan card was not verified against business name. In short they know the issue. They should have bene smart enough to email everyone with the update or update their blog so that ppl stop calling them.

    She said it will take them 4-5 days to verify PAN cards again.

    Has anyone use alertpay??

    I just applied for a PAN for my Pvt Ltd Firm.

    Removed my PAN from my Business Account, which was perfect.

    And opened a new Premier Account with my personal PAN yesterday.

    Their fees are 2.9% compare to 3.9% Paypal charges. ONly thing is that they don't do bank transfers.

    Looks like we are in for a long haul, as they seems to be settling the premier accounts first as those may not be having the actual problem of different name and PAN number, since the name of the account and the name of the individual remains same.

    This looks to be the practical approach now, will wait for a couple more days before taking this route. For a Pvt Ltd Firm as such you were supposed to have a Business PAN, right.

    Bank withdrawals through SWIFT method can take 20-25 days depending on the bank that you have account with.

    Charges of 2CO are exorbitant, i already have my complete packages and business set up their and used it for a while too during the last paypal issue in February 2010, but i found the charges to be almost double that of paypal, a simple comparison is, when you sell for $500 you pay $20-25 to paypal while it can be more than $50 in case of 2CO and then charges for transferring the money through SWIFT, overall a bad bargain.

    After submitting the required details, still status is same.

    When check it's showing 'in Progress'

    Hope they will resolve it soon. BTW I can send the payment through PP.

    I have some doubts. Whether this problem is happening only to business a/c holders or for other a/c holders also? Whether it is due to variation in name on the PAN card and PayPal a/c or due to change in DOB?

    I just call to PayPal now they say to me that you need to wait 30 days as they forward my PAN details to INDIAN GOVT.

    Once Indian Govt. verified then my account pay-pal works fine.

    This is what the PayPal support team says to me.

    Wait for another 30 days :( Ridiculous!!

    My personal account was affected. so all type of accounts are affected!

    There is no name variation issue with my account and PAN. Simple 2 word name . Also there is no Middle name issue shit some poster are talking about.
    NO DOB issue with mine.

    ISSUE
    simply is there is some error with SHITPAL PAN verification or either their webmaster was smoking too much weed or is a college dropout!
    He/she fiddled with something in PAN verification protocol and many accounts got affected (mostly normal valid accounts with proper PAN....probably)

    i just called again
    Same 50min shit....though this time only one agent handled.

    I just blasted him from minute 1 as was really angry. I had another issue related to cheques other than PAN limitation.
    After shouting at him to tell me the status of the complaint booked >48hrs ago (About why my PAN has been called INVALID and account limited when i have already entered my correct PAN and VERIFIED successfully),
    he asked for 10 minutes and then said, i am removing your limitation.

    So good news
    is my account is fine now. But issue is the message to enter a valid PAN is still there.
    He said "This message will soon go away and you need not worry, Sir".
    Lets C. I had enough of him & as account is restored...i hung up the call.

    Those morons who say wait for 30 days ... Are they generating PAN or verifying it? MothaF**kers!
    Ask them who gonna pay for damages/losses in 30 days for SIMPLE AND CLEAR TECHNICAL FAULT OF SHITPAL !
    Point that some people are getting different responses, PROVES how shitty SHITPAL is!
