In Romania is around 200$/month You can't buy much with it we have expensive stuff here more expensive then in USA for exemple
I'm afraid the way this subject is raised is incorrect, the minimum wage according to what? are you asking about full time employment or casual, and how many hours a week is full time in (say) India compared to Canada ?? Comparing the price of a Hamburger in Rupees to Canadian Dollars has no relevence. What you have to do in compare in what is termed VALENCY (value) and it goes like this... Compare between two individuals set in identical employment (lets say a first year qualified car mechanic) both working the standard weekly hours as set by his country of residence and both recieving the recognised set wage (after Tax) for this position. Now establish a standard food item cost, a good example is what does it cost for a litre of milk in each country, now calculate the total litres of milk that each person can purchase for his standard weeks wages. By simple division (ie: weekly wage divided by the cost of a litre of milk) you will now see that one person can purchase more litres of milk for his weekly wage than the other and is thus better off, of course to get a more accurate assessment it is best to compare a number of standard items. To just say a hamburger costs 75 Rand is just rubbish, is there a 'standard' hamburger and if so, compared to what??
The minimum wage in the USA is different between states, but in PA it's $7.25/hour, and that's basically an average value meal at a fast food restaurant.
I my lands minimal wage is about 10 $, but you can't buy anything, because last time we have a deficit of products and currency as well. So it's better to live somewhere else.
i have no idea how much it is in Kuwait, but i would assume a monthly salary of 60 Kuwaiti Dinar is the minimum (that's around $200 per month) which is of course, is not enough, it can get you food and shitty room to live in!
