alright so i just had a talk with paypal US support and they said they already are aware of the issue and they'r forwarded that to their concerned department. and it should be solved in 48 hrs (not sure if its business days or weekends included) also all guys will get the reimbursement.

What kind of reimbursement are they going to provide? I have already lost around US$500 from the business due to this issue today.
They will do that... Last time I got the money back into my PayPal so don't worry. PayPal is genuine. This is RBI who is doing UNGLI ;-)
Same invalid problem here. Called them but it isnt their business hours. Will call again and see what they can do to resolve this.
After waiting for 45-50 mins, I got the agent on call... Here the his exact words: "Sir, we're very sorry for the trouble. We're already aware of this issue and our experts are working on it. It'll be fixed within 48 Hours." When I ask about my LOSS due to reversal, he can't able to answer properly but he told "You may get all your money back into your account." So now there is no option, Just wait and watch for next 48 hours. Fingers crossed!
Dear All When i raised this issue with the Executive Department i was specifically told to do "nothing as of now" so please stop modifying or playing with the online details. This can aggravate the situation further rather then resolving it. Paypal is aware of this "Wide Scale Stupidity" and are currently working to resolve this. Today they completely justified their name "Pay - Pal" because it's you "Pal" who is going to "Pay" in the end. Rishi
I think already each one of us have a proper bank current account only though which we could withdraw. and we have submitted all the proofs of business including the PAN card and business proofs for Banks, then Why Paypal need to verify this again? i think Paypal should have verified our info with a worthless, govt provided db.
Amiyan Government Records Are Just Fine. It was a Program Bug which resulted in "Mass Limitation" of Paypal Accounts.

JUST finished a 50 Minutes call with US SHITPAL customer support Automated shit - 15min 1st "Sweet Voice" Female agent - 10minutes - Bimbo asks for all the info n other crap & then listens to my issue of " Why a SUCCESSFULLY VERIFIED PAN is said to be invalid and account limited " and then has nothing to say....says "plz wait ...while i transfer to another senior agent" 2nd "Stressed Out- Tired" Male agent - 25minutes - Asks for all info again. Listens to my issue again...Wait for 1minute Asks again for issue , like a moron. I clarify again. Wait for 5minutes... Says he is still checking ...apologizes & asks for waitin...wait for 7minutes Says he is still checking and knows how frustrating it is (and other shit) ...apologizes AGAIN & asks for waiting...wait for 5minutes Says he is still not able to find out a reason for the same...and is forwarding this to another higher associate and i will receive response within 24-48hrs (CRAP) (Now it was my turn) I asked what exactly is he doing all throughout... and who gonna pay for the 50 min call with no issue resolution at all Apologizes again and explains he was writing notes on the account Asked .. writing notes for 25minutes? (may be his typing speed was 1 word/min) ...says "i also talked to other agent regarding this"..which he didn't....LIAR Asked wasn't he verifying the PAN again (just a question).... said "sorry, we cant verify the pan from here ourselves" Asked who have they tied up with , in india to do so...said " Sorry, this info not available with me" Asked, what if i don't receive a reply and i have to call again and again await of an hour and same crap reply as his? says "i can give you a case ID" Asked, how many similar cases of indian PP account you know of in last 2 days... says "i myself got such case for the first time" (LIE..may be not .. may be other agents got such calls ) He gave a ID and kinda saved his ass. Call end. RESULT- ALMOST NOTHING! DIE SHITPAL!
Guys, I called them up 2 times on US toll free number. First time a lady rep, she was not much aware of the issue and I finally gave up. Second, one of a good rep out there, he understood the issue (probably because he was knowing it). He has forwarded the issue to the concerned department and I supposed to get an answer in next 48 to 72 hours. They are extending time because of the weekends, this has happened at a bad time and may get delayed ruining our businesses for no fault of us. I will try calling again in case I reach to someone knowing this better and can do something, but I believe it's impossible that anyone will pretend to know the issue after knowing it's their fault. If your call is short and they have not much to verify the reason or dig their systems during call, they most probably are knowing it.

Are you calling the number in Contact Us/Help while you are logged in to Indian account? Listen to the timing on call, they say it's IST (Our standard time). Yes, they have written it wrong just below the number. If you wish call their US number.

PayPal outage is not new. It happens twice every year. In past, it used to happen during Feb/Mar. I think it is because of strange regulations of RBI or Indians want more money to let PayPal work in India. Every time many of us who are dependent on PayPal, feel like dying and after it is resolved, we continue working as usual. There is no reasonable alternative in India. Google checkout doesn't work for Indians. So let's wait and keep calm to maintain good health. Let's hope they do something faster. In Feb 2010 it took the longest, more than a month. I had stopped eating and was really worried about how to continue online business in India. Payment Gateways of ICICI and HDFC banks cost more than 150000 INR as a set up fee and of course, per transaction. They accept only VISA and Master Cards. CCAvenue is also very costly, per transaction and PayPal has a good name internationally. So our clients don't mind paying online.
