[NEXT ISSUE] Your PAN was found to be invalid after verification

My account got automatically limited due to invalid PAN.
The PAN submitted is accurate and I have been withdrawing money for the past year without any trouble.
After waiting for 4 days, I called up and fired the guy at the other end.
Finally, he told me that I should fax an attested copy of my PAN card to the Accounts Review Dept.
He asked me to clearly include this info

Attn: Accounts Review Department
Email id as seen in PAN profile
Phone number as seen in PAN profile

The fax number is 1-402-537-5731.

He also said the problem is being faced with many Indian users.

Try faxing the details if your account has been blocked.

Will update if my account limitation is removed.

 

Do as Paypal said to you and in few days,your PAN mistake will be corrected and limits on your Paypal account will be lifted

 

Call them...and good luck

 

I received this message at 2:55 AM in Mid of Night when I was about to go to sleep and Spoiled my Sleep for the day. The PAN attached is Company PAN card Issued by Govt. of India. Did Paypal Verify from Govt. of German? USA? Australia?

this is the same message i received and around same time you received this message
and it is strange that i provided correct PAN card no which belongs to me and i use it every legal place in india where they ask for it

 

i too got the same correct pan but these idiots sent its invalid !

 

Stupid people I have given them correct PAN but they have sent me this email.

I too received a similar email. I have this PAN card added for almost a year now without any problems. Just get the feeling is is happening only to those who have a Business Account..

 

I also got same message and my account also got limited, I have valid PAN in my account.

 

Do you have a Business account or premiere account?

 

Did any one try calling PayPal. When I try calling them it says invalid number.

 

Same thing happened to me. may be PAN verification will work only for personal account. Is anyone with personal account got the same error?

 

I have business account and PAN in personal name, will it cause issue ?

 

I think they are trying to match Business account with PAN how can it match as in propriotership the card will be in name of Proprioter

 

I quiet agree we cannot have a PAN card in name of the company.

Why do we also suffer for PayPal's fault..........? Did you try calling them...?

 

As per Indian law in propriotership Proprioter can have PAN in his own name and conduct business under different Business Name

90% of Paypal Merchants in India are small propriotership firms if thats the case then they have to rectify the error

 

I called them, but its closed for non business hours

 

I also tried emailing them and came a auto reply with the steps on how to remove limitations
