Advantages and disadvantages of, Google AdWords and Yahoo Search Marketing

    The search engines became an important part of the web and the increasing complexity in the search for information by users is becoming increasingly difficult. In the past it was very relevant a search engine and competition was very balanced. Now with an average of 155 million web sites and more than 20.000 million web pages, Google is known for being the most accurate search firm in the entire network.

    Google has become something serious for almost any company. With the bursting of the bubble in technology stocks, Google has sailed to safer waters with its clever marketing, technological savvy, and a range of user friendly features to suit the needs of its consumers.

    Most of Google's revenue comes from AdWords ads. As an added feature to its search engine, Google AdWords is a supplement to the search results to give the user the opportunity to go to a website from a related company. AdWords Advertising may be described as a pay per click service that can drive traffic to advertiser websites. Depending on the client's budget, Google can expand the ad exposure, using its search engine to grab the attention of consumers.

    With all this comes the question: what are the advantages and disadvantages of Adwords and similar systems?

    Among its advantages:

    Coverage.
    AdWords can guarantee that about 80% of Internet users through its advertising on the Google search engine. This is a great advantage when you have a limited budget and want to reach as many people as possible. Google is a word well known. Brand retention is high and is one of the first engines to be used for online searches. In addition, its relationship with other major search engines and makes strategic AdWords advertising may also appear on those sites, exponentially increasing exposure of the ads.

    Cost
    The cost of using AdWords is, in short, manageable. Cost is a major concern for businesses, and Google provides its users with this possibility. Google only charges its AdWords customers generated per click to their websites. The customer can specify the amount of their daily budget and cost per click can be as low as $ 0.01 from USD.

    Timing
    Google AdWords puts the advertiser in the right place at the right time. Google user is looking for something to answer a question or to find out something about a topic. This puts the user in a state open to offers of sale.

    Flexibility

    AdWords advertising may be available on the web in just 15 minutes. When changes in trends in consumer behavior, AdWords advertisers can deftly change their ads. Google also is present in other geographical locations and languages. AdWords advertising can also specifically target users based on the campaign.

    There are a variety of help and tutorials available to advertisers. The user can also control the cost of its first ads for experience and then, increase the budget once you have confidence and know how to use the service.

    Among its disadvantages:

    Adwords is a good way to advertise, but there are other methods of advertising that are equally effective.

    2 JSheohard: I think this is the method which you can't NOT use, perhaps, not the only one, but one of the effective ones, without any doubt.

    As for the initial post, I like the way you segment different aspects of pros and cons of such type of web-advertising. Do you think Google will maintain its positions in future?
