1MoreLink.com has literally taken off in terms of traffic. I have removed adsense and replaced with better CJ ads. It has made money but not as much as I'd like and truthfully I have other commitments. This domain came to me several of months ago and wasn't even on the radar. I have written press releases, articles and submitted to hundreds of other locations. It is now a solid PR3 with a fantastic Alexa rank.

For those who search the threads - you'll see I bought it here on DP. The site was not indexed and flat on its face - it has been resurrected and retooled. I even went as far as sending Google a letter asking to have it re-indexed which as you cant tell, they did. I have spent many hours optimizing the site and design as well making a lot of it automatic and search engine friendly.

The pligg template was purchased and has a license. I do have it set to autofeed a number of rss feeds and also some youtube vids. Very simple to do. I have also gone through and really made sure that some of the ads werent scumbags. It is kind of a chore but I spend about an hour a week going through peoples links and deleting the scummy ones. Their is also a validation process in place.

its all about money in the world , not just facts like alexa rank, page rank, back links and bla bla ablaabalab

 

I never monetized the site other than banner ads - made about $200 last year selling banner ads, forgot to mention. I did not renew due to becoming sick and then of course posting for sale. I never posted adsense on the site so am unsure how it would do - I wanted to see what the site would do with formal ads. It does get decent traffic so it might do ok with adsense but that will be up to buyer
