    I think you should use sites for making backlinks which are in the same niche and have high PR. For getting useful resources you should search it by yourself. Use this search string for getting those useful sites.

    “powered by wordpress” “leave a comment”
    Inurl:.edu “Powered by wordpress”
    Inurl:.gov “Powered by WordPress”
    Inurl:.ac.uk “Powered by wordpress”

    BlogEngine
    Inurl:.edu “Powered by BlogEngine.NET 1.4.5.0?
