Perhaps the president's boat anchor like popularity drain for Democratic candidates has something to do with the fact he is sending out campaign emails with wording that is commonly found on porno-spam. The most recent mailer from the president carried the subject: Sometime Soon, Can We Meet For Dinner? My spam trap account gets a lot of email such as this, though it usually comes from people peddling dating services and porn websites. This time it came from a sitting US president. Apparently, it is the President's attempt to whore himself out for a dinner date if you give him 5$ or more, a cheaper flavor of what the other porno advertisers are offering. Desperation is so unbecoming.
And now "President" Obama has put up a web site for Americans to snitch on any of their neighbors who might have negative opinions of him? Fantabulous! Please report me now!
Everybody sing along! Our Depression has a first name its B-A-R-A-K Our Depression has a second name its O-B-A-M-A I hate to see it every day and if you ask me why I'll sayCause Barak Obama has a way of killing off the U-S-A
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuunny! Check out the draconian privacy statement on AttackWatch. Basically, they collect your personal information and use it however they want. I'd say the website is designed to organize the disillusioned Democratic base. It would be nice if Obama treated unemployment like an employment problem, and not a P.R. problem.
At least the Administration has a proposal - while the Republicans have only themselves to blame for the conditions they have yet to address.
I remember reading the tobacco companies TOS for joining the anti-new-smoking-tax protest said the same thing. How wrong is that? First they put up a copyright notice all over their site (so you can't use their flyers or ads) and they want you to help them with their cause. Seems they're asking you to share your thoughts, opinions, arguments so they can glean all your good ideas, but won't share theirs back....stuff that imho.
I have to disagree. This is about reporting people who disagree with the president's politics. We've seen this before. Everything is a P.R. problem to Obama. 'Never let a good crisis go to waste". I think the situation with Solyndra is emblematic of Obama's reign. In a nutshell, they rubber stamped (is "Robosigned" a better word to use?) Solyndra's half a Billion dollar government loan based on pressure from the White House to give Joe Biden something to talk about (as if old Joe ever lacks for something to talk about). This, mind you, after the same loan approval people had round filed Solyndra's application prior to Obama coming to power. Rumor also has it that the "Fast and Furious" program investigation is leading to cabinet members and the White House. What could be more darkly cynical than letting automatic weapons flow into Mexico to be used by the cartels against our own border and drug enforcement people, just to have a talking point on gun control. This is all starting to smell a bit like Watergate. You keep pulling on that thread, and you are probably not going to like where it leads.
Solar energy is a crock. I've been in the high technology business for 25 years and solar energy is a crock. It's inefficient, expensive, and unreliable. The business of solar energy is all about grabbing government grants. I think that the Republicans are sitting on Solyndra and "Fast and Furious" until next year, maybe around February or March. It's not just the Presidency, while only 10 Republican Senate seats are up, a whopping 23 Democrat Senate seats are in jeopardy. Breeze we know you're gutless, right? I expect you to surrender this conversation by ignoring the question, but I'll ask anyway. Show us you're not a coward - make a prediction as to what U.S. unemployment will be for October 2012. Or do not make a prediction, slink off into the obscurity you so richly deserve.
Imagine if Bush had ever launched a website like this and called it TerroristsWatch. Just imagine the outrage of democrats..
You are sitting rather stupid for both Corwin - apparently you have not heard of China and Solar Power - your 25 years in ignorance is telling. Corwin: The Administration has run you over on "Fast and Furious". Maybe using more than your childish language skills and learning from your mistakes will enable you to keep up with the adults. ......... The Republicans have the same opportunity - and have done nothing. The Administration has something to build on - someday, soon preferably they will right their course and their time will have been spent for the Country rater than Republicans in an unnecessary foreign War.
Depends on the timeline goober.. If you are saying the Republicans had the opportunity over that same 3 years, you'd be incorrect. I guess you're going to have to be a bit more specific with regard to "when" that opportunity has presented itself. I seem to remember health care being SHOVED down everyone's throats. "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it." Nancy Pelosi.
"when" that opportunity has presented itself. Since the beginning of the the Republicans 07-09 Recession.....and opposed by the R's which curtailed that Recession. The Administrations (September) legislation for stimulating employment is what we are taking about, Goober. The House Republicans have yet to offer a proposal of their own - if it is not for Foreign Employment R's just do not bother. ..... I seem to remember health care being SHOVED down everyone's throats. That was an issue with Bill Clinton "94" and passed by Obama in 2010 - Hey where were you 2002 - 2008, milking your Cow?
No one should be suprised to see his approval rating falling the only suprising thing is that it is still as high as it is. He continues to throw money around because it is not his and if he doesnt get his way blames it on the Republicans and everything is still Bushes fault atleast according to him. His Healthcare plan was supposed to save a system that was wasting too much money, it turns out that it will cost us more but he still signed it anyway because he was happy that he did something other than improving his Golf score.
Right now he's throwing money and this bill around along with tax increases because he KNOWS IT WILL NOT PASS... The entire jobs bill is designed to fail intentionally. And the reasons are way too obvious to state.
....... the only suprising thing is that it is still as high as it is. You have that right, after all the money and time spent by Republican negative propaganda, including their Recession it is quite remarkable his numbers remain as high as they are. They do have him on the ropes but if he ever decides to stand his ground there is still plenty of time for a comeback. Hope is eternal.
