It is about time for Conscientious Legislation to balance the books on this and the other entitlement programs the Liberals are now introducing in Congress.

The Administrations choice between Republican Ineptitude and that of its Natural Constituency could not be any more evident.

I think we are only doing 'quite well' because China buys half of our GDP every year. (guessing on the half bit but I know it's a huge percentage, maybe even more than that, or slightly less). If we were resource-free we'd probably be broker than everyone. China saved us there, and now it's making our miners very rich, all 7 of them! ...though the industry is only 17% owned by Australia.... so they're making a lot more for the international community too I guess.

    ADDED:
ROFLMAO - I'm glad I had drunk the coffee. That was a classic retort!!

Bush, I can't seem to find any material which supports the claim I made regarding the fed. loaning money to Aussie central bank, however it shows the insidious nature of the fed. seeing (as you rightfully said) Australia is one of the most protected against this global recession/depression.

Nps thanks for trying. I remember they said they were worried because the National bank had invested too much into those nasty derivatives & default swaps which had them worried for a time (and they alone may have had to lend) but not sure they actually did, or anyone else did here. I thought they got out of it here after the government guaranteed the deposit insurance. A few of the unheard of banks (and building societies) were bought out by the bigger players at the time so they didn't lend anything that I know of.

No loans through the discount window are ever not covered by receipt and usually paid back the next day or the bank is ceased and their assets liquidated to other institutions.

Your need of proof BRUm just shows your misunderstanding of the Institution and the reason for its enactment.

If you are misunderstanding my writing, it is because I recently completed the enactment of my garden and was collecting the harvest before it got ceased.

LOL. :) He might be able to write his own...

After we read our books, we'll have to come back and write book reviews, giving Obamanation and Webby new tips on how to make money unethically!! :) But seriously, it should be a fun book to read...

Do you really garden, or is that a metaphor? I'm planning a garden, and kind of excited about it. I'm not going to start it though until this spring. I've been trying to decide what to plant, but definitely some heirloom tomatoes...

I have a pretty decent knowledge of the Federal Reserve system and its hand in fractional reserve banking. My amateur interest in economics is also well founded since my modules in accountancy and micro and macro economics I took as part of my first degree: Business and Financial Management.

I facepalm at your use of the huffington post as evidence and the wording "in many cases..." as well as its lack of citations.

You should stick to what you're good at, discussing self sufficiency. Only then will people take you seriously.

Well, I'm an ethical person when it comes to interactions with individuals, it's the alleged "rules" that are supposed to govern business that I happily jump over. There is the way the system is supposed to work, and there is the way the system really works. It never works the way it's supposed to work.

Or, as one man put it,

"If a system can be 'gamed', it will"

What to plant is always a hard decision: Carrots - Lettuce - Peas - Radishes - Tomatos(fall) are Winter crops and the easiest, have a small Farm and have Harrowed the Garden.
    .............

Facepalm all you like - Hffington is fun to read as opposed to so many others....and as balanced as Fox News your Bible.

As I stated from the "Discount Window" your allegations of impropriety are just not credible, it simply highlights your lack of real knowledge over the subject - including the ridiculous notion the Federal Reserve would not lend to other Countries etc. - You obviously are not an American Capitalist.

You really make me chuckle. Where do you get this shit from? You know absolutely zero about me. I hate Foxnews! My bible? Dear, dear me...

Look around you. No one here agrees with you. I think YOU are not an American capitalist. I have no idea what most of your post is about. Where did I say the fed. doesn't lend to other countries?

    That there Fox News... BWHAAHAAHAHAHA...

I'm with you there. Not sure why on earth the liberals out there assume anyone with a different opinion must watch Fox News, have a bookshelf full of "Bible's" and has shit that does not emit an odor.

sometimes, after reading Breeze's posts I start to doubt my own intelligence. Most of the time his posts go way over my head..

You know the feeling, when someone says something to you and you have no idea what the heck they are talking about, you are not even sure if they are talking to you or to themselves and you go like - "uh, yeah?"

Sometimes, I think I should smoke some crack and see if those posts start to make any sense to me..

Hah yeah it's very sad. To have such a 2D mind must be incredible... to Breeze, if you're not a Democrat then you're some sort of Republican caricature he holds in his head.

Webby, I'm with you there buddy. His awkward wording often baffles me. It's like polishing a turd. When you have no evidence, use a thesaurus to say "you're wrong because I said so".

    That's because liberals stereotype people.

Numbers that came out today say that 428,000 more people stood on the unemployment lines last week. That is 428,000 people that were not previously unemployed.

Unemployment might climb over 10% by February 2012.

Your posts just seem to to indicate your source would be from Foxnews or the equivalent.
    .....

    Edit:

We have the Republican House to thank for that. The recovery has stalled 6-2011 by their lack of economic legislation and the S&P Downgrade their inaction during the Summer was responsible for.

That would kinda validate the claim then would it not? My source is REALITY. It's not a network, or an opinion. ;)

So you're saying that the Republican do nothing house that everyone disapproves of has some how caused 3 years of misery to unfold in an instant, even though control of that House belonged to someone else previously?

You are one confused little boy.

"All European banks, and the French are no exception, will have to readjust their activity in dollars,"

The Administration and the Federal Reserve are again working to solve the economic chaos they inherited from the 07-09 Recession and with this instalment may declare shortly "Mission Accomplished".

Are the Republicans doing anything to help our own country??? - no, foreign WMD and unnecessary Wars to win elections is all they know.
    .............

Mia, what I have said is the Administration and the D House solved the economic problems and were working to put America back to work - the Tea Party Republican House has done nothing but cause a S&P downgrade of our National Credit Rating and an increase in our nations unemployment.

That was a reactionary knee jerk reaction back to the ugly days of the past - too bad Mia, the Void has been crossed by the Administration in curtailing the Republican Recession and your ugly politics of the past will wither on the vine, perhaps delayed but ultimately to a fitting end for a Dracolian Beast.
