    Will you please stop saying such boring things again and again.....since 3 years we are hearing the same thing from alertpay...damn.

    The great thing with you guys is when scammers use alertpay to fraud and a normal user chargebacks the money never comes back.

    When a normal user receives money and a scammer does chargeback,the account will be freezed or funds will be reversed.

    Such a lame security measures you have.You must develop your quality of service to find out and help innocent users to save their money.

    I dont know when alertpay will change their stupidest security on earth.and you guys say exchanges are not allowed lol.When alertpay doesnt have any way to withdraw money to bank,its obvious we shall reach a exchanger.
    Damn, when you dont have enough sources to run the business properly you should inform the indians to be away from you lol.

    how much Alertpay charge/fee on debit master card issue to account holder. Do i have to renew card yearly. how much % fee alertpay takes to load on card. Is prepaid card and debit marster card is same.

    I’m sorry to hear that you have been a customer of ours for 3 years, and are dissatisfied with the service.

    We dislike charebacks just as much as you do. They violate our user agreement. Unfortunately, we incur a fee from our bank when a chargeback is done.

    We try to have the fairest system in place when it comes to these issues.

    Within your account you can limit the amount of potential fraud. You can accept payment from only verified members. You can accept payments from only certain countries. You have many options available to you.

    You can also look at why scammers are targeting you. Is your product/service something scammers’ target? Have you seen a surge in users for your product/service? Is there a region/country where most of these scams are coming from?

    I have always talk about Alertpay how they are a good payment processor but today i was very disapointed. First time that i saw such a bad business practice.

    Here i will start to write and it seems to be that Alertpay have scammed me and i have loose more than 400$:

    I have recived 20 days ago Credit Card payment more than 400$ and i contacted the user to give me a copy of credit card and everything is ok so the customer is not a scammer. Than after that i shipped item to my customer and more than 20 days gone and i recived a dummy email from you today that the payment was reversed for security reason and now i lost more than 400$ with You.

    I WANT MY MONEY AND PLEASE GIVE ME THE MONEY. I CAN NOT AFFOR THIS LOSS WITH YOU ALERTPAY. NOBODY IS DOING SUCH A THINGS AFTER 20 DAYS TO REVERSE PAYMENTS. I AM VERY ANGRY OF YOU.

    TODAY I AM STARTING TO WRITE THIS ON ALL FORUMS WITH A PROOF. SO PLEASE GIVE THE MONEY BACK TO ME. THIS IS NOT A GAME THIS IS A BUSINESS. OK ???

    I am very sorry to hear that you were caught up in a fraudulent transaction, and I understand your frustration.

    Unfortunately, that transaction was made with a fraudulent credit card. It was flagged, and we had to act accordingly.

    The user’s account has been suspended and is now being investigated outside the realms of AlertPay.

    Had this transaction occurred with another payment processor, the result would have been the same. Credit card companies allow up to 6 months, some a year, to recall any transaction and you would have been hit with a chargeback.

    No matter the industry, whether online or in a physical shop, if someone uses fraudulent means to acquire goods/service, the money is returned to the person it was stolen from.

    You may refer to the post above, and take extra measures to protect yourself from fraud. The transaction in question was done by an unverified account. You might want to consider only accepting payments from verified members, or restricting payments from certain countries, where fraud is more prevalent.

    Another sign of fraud is if the order is larger than your average orders.

    Thank You Chrisz for your clarifications.I understand that you must reverse payments made with a fraudelent Credit Card but tell me please how we can protect in the future better because we are recieving more and more Credit Card payments and how we can now if the payment is fraud or not? We can not let customer wait more than 30 days to shipp the item because you can maybe reverse the payment.

    You shoudl offer better Fraud Protections system for us big Seller and not only work for customers. You must also protect us Seller because we have a big amount transaction in Alertpay and you also earn from us. We want to accept Credit Cards but we wait that you offer better Fraud Protection System. I never heard before that this things happend with Paypal, Moneybookers or Liberty Reserve. This is my best suggestion do something for seller also make better Fraud Protections system and dont reverse payments they are older than 10 days because this is not possible to work this way. Today we have also adjust our Payment setting and now we only allow payments from verified members so we hope we can now avoid fraud payments.

    You can begin with only accepting credit card payment from verified members. Otherwise, you can ask them to pay using their AlertPay balance.

    You can restrict certain countries from buying on your site. Many members do not ship to regions where fraud is high.

    In this particular case, the order placed was fair larger than your average order, which could have raised suspicion.

    You can contact the buyer in order to get more information from them. If they are from the US but have little to no English that could be a sign that something is off. This particular member had a story about how it wasn’t their card but their wife’s and they had permission to use it.

    You can always contact us, if you have reason to believe something is suspicious, and we can look into it further.

    These small steps will go a long way in protecting you in the long run.

    Your suggestion is valid with the buyer protection for some of our larger merchants, and it is an idea we have talked about and are looking to implement.

    I am not too aware of what the other online payment processors offer, but they would have all had to reverse that transaction in the case of fraud. It is the credit card companies which push through the reverses and we all have to comply to their time frames when it concerns fraud.

    I hope this has helped, and gives you better confidence in who you are selling to. Again, thanks for your understanding.

    i have one more questions. How it is possible to accept only Credit Card Payments from verified members and payments from balance from unverified and verified also.

    Because when i choose accept payments only from verified members this is also for balance payments.

    And also tell me i recive 2 Credit Card payments and the shipping adress is in Russia for both payments so please can you check this payments and tell me if they are fraud or not:

    I like Alertpay.. Science Paypal is not supporting Pakistan so i left with option of Moneybookers, Payoneer and Alertpay. and i made my account on all of these three.. how ever i dont have any money in Payoneer because its very very expensive..

    hey chrisz you have to open technodiscount24 alertpay account as there is only some shops which delivery worldwide and accepting alertpay(best payment processor) and we(world wide members) are only able to shop with them and also they are your trusted members and having business with you almost over 4 years and also they have their webshop sologon "Buy With Alertpay" i hope you can understand them and also understand us(their customers) as we have only way to shop from them...thanks:)

We are many years by Alertpay and we are using Alertpay as our main payment processor. Also we have always support Alertpay on their Facebook Page and we always say the best for them.

    Yesterday some bad things with Alertpay happends. They have restricted our account and the reason as they say is that we recive to much fraud payments.

    But this is not a good reason because nobody can control useres activity and the payment processor must implemente fraud protection tools to avoid fraud payments.

    So now we can not acsess our Alertpay account and we can not make any refunds.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Please alertpay Cs help to fix it, cos lot of people(include me) have sent money(Legal) and now if no respon from Alertpay, my Item will not ship and i lost my money.

    Please follow their directives and continue the correspondence with my risk team.

    I highly suggest you look into more preventative fraud measures for your site, anything beyond that I cannot discuss on an open forum due to privacy issues.

    Please do all You can Chrisz to get our Alertpay account enabled again. We have talk a last time about a Fraud Prevention. We have made a changes in our Alertpay account to not accept Credit Card payments more and to accept payments only from Alertpay verified members as we had many chargebacks from Credit Card payments. And after we had make this changes our Alertpay account was restricted. I hope you will to your best to enable our account again so we can continue with our Business because we only want to use Alertpay as we have more than 80% of transaction through Alertpay and all customers want us back.

    At this moment, you cannot withdrawal to credit card. We are working hard to restore that service.

    AlertPay is currently in beta testing for its prepaid card. Only select users are able to test out the card, and we hope to roll it out to all our members very soon.
