Did paypal make a mistake??? £1500 out of my bank account

Was checking my online bank today and apparently £1500 went out of my bank account through paypal, which put me in £1k dept, but then that transaction was reversed, but whats weird is I havnt had any emails from paypal explaining any issues and that, so I'm not sure if anyone new my account details or if paypal made a mistake.

Your account has probably been hijacked. Here's what you need to do:

1. Change the password and clean your computer from all threats
2. File a dispute on the unauthorized transaction
3. Call up PayPal afterwards to get things processed quickly

 

If this money really went out of your paypal account then im confused. Why would you post a question on here instead of just contacting paypal? If your that concerned surely you would be on the phone in a heart beat. Sounds made up to me

 

It could also glitch in their system billing error. You said that amount was reversed, but have you received it in your bank account or it is still under their review.

 

Yea it was in my bank, on the paypal statement said payment was sent on 9th sep in paypal, and on 13th sep it was taken out of my bank but then also reversed on the same day, so I'm not sure really, I use lastpass for logging in to my account, I've changed my pwd and security now, but whats really weird about this, is the fact that I didnt get an email from paypal stating that I sent the payment,

 

dont see what your getting at but whatever. I was simply saying this is the wrong place for answers. Should simply cal paypal themselfs.

 

Yeah, regardless of whether it was reversed or not, you won't get answers on here.

 

It is hi-jacked, Try to scan your PC with malware bytes.

 

Then no worries, just make sure yousetup a strong password, also check your missing paypal emails under spam folder.
